Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of Destruction is a solemn commitment to destroy those who you swore to defeat. These paladins are rare, because they are usually chased by other paladins, due to their evil tendencies and therefore have short lifespans. To these paladins – sometimes called Slaughters – their own life is not as important as delivering caos for those they despise.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Ground rupture: As a bonus action, choose a point within 120ft that you can see. A small tremor with 15ft radius happens and the terrain becomes ruptured and full of debris, turning the area into difficult terrain. You can choose a number of creatures equal to your charisma modifier, those creatures are not affected by the terrain changes.
Destructive Intrusion: Choose a creature within 60ft. As an action, you can destroy 2 pieces of non-magical equipment that are wielded or worn by the creature. If the creature has no visible equipment, it has its natural armor class reduced by half of your proficiency modifier (rounded up) for 1 minute.
Oath Spells

Destructive Smite
At 7th level, you learn to empower your divine smite with even more energy. Whenever you spend a spell slot for your divine smite, every creature other than you within a circle with a radius equal to 5ft centered on your target takes half of the total radiant damage dealt by your divine smite.
You also gain resistance to radiant damage.
Collateral effects
Starting at 15th level, you can sacrifice yourself to increase the range of your smite. Everytime you use your Destructive Smite Feature, you can spend hit points to increase the radius of your smite. For every 10 hit points spent, increase the radius of your Destructive Smite Feature by 5ft.
Also, if you reduce your own hit points to 0 or fewer, you are not knocked unconscious, but you're unable to take any reactions for 1 minute. If you take any more damage, you fall unconscious. You regain hit points equal to half your paladin level (rounded up) at the beggining of your turn if you didn't take any damage for 1 minute.
Personification of Chaos
Upon reaching the 20th level, you start to lose your normal self and can temporarily become a harbinger of destruction and chaos. As an action, you can transform into your Chaos Self. Upon transforming, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Upon transforming, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your paladin level.
- At the begging of your turn, choose a number of hostile creatures equal to your Charisma modifier within 30ft. The chosen creatures have their base AC permanently reduced by 1.
- Whenever you take an attack action, you can forgo your extra attack and deal maximum damage on your first attack.
- You have immunity to Radiant and Necrotic damage.
Also, your alignment changes to Chaotic Evil or Chaotic Good whenever you transform into your Chaos Self.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency modifier. You regain all expended uses after a Long Rest.
