Bard
Base Class: Bard

Though many bards are best known for their music or poemtry, there are some that tell their tales without any vocal component whatsoever. The bards from the College of Dance translate their art through the movement of their bodies, mesmerizing onlookers with their fluid choreography. These artists take their skills to adventuring life often, proving deft fighters, difficult-to-hit targets, and unpredictable spellcasters. For dancing bards, their art follows them along every step.

Graceful Spellweaver

3rd-Level College of Dance Feature

When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, your choreography is pure magic. When you cast a spell with a material component or verbal component, but no somatic component, you can choose to replace either the material or verbal component with a somatic component. This cannot be done if there is a cost indicated for the material component or if the spell requires a target to hear its verbal component.
In addition, if you move at least 10 feet on a turn, you can use your body as a spellcasting focus until the start of your next turn.

Pirouette Protection

3rd-Level College of Dance Feature

At 3rd level, the continuous flowing steps of your dance make you nearly impossible to hit. While you are not wearing any armor, your armor class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier.

Inspiring Waltz

3rd-Level College of Dance Feature

Also at 3rd level, you express your bardic magic through twisting spins and joyous leaps. As a bonus action, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiriation to begin a dance performance for the next minute. At the start of each of your turns for the duration, choose one of the following benefits to gain until the start of your next turn:

 * Dizzying Distraction. Once per turn, when you cast a spell which forces any number of creatures to make a saving throw, choose a number of targets of the spell equal to your proficiency bonus. They make the spell's saving throw with disadvantage.

 * Swift Slide. Your movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks for the rest of the turn. In addition, your movement speed increases by 5 feet x your proficiency bonus.

 * Spatial Awareness. You gain a +1 bonus to your AC. In addition, you make Concentration saving throws to maintain concentration on a spell with advantage.

Pas De Deux

6th-Level College of Dance Feature

At 6th level, you can pull an ally into your dancing, performing your magic as a duo. When you choose one of the benefits from your Inspiring Waltz feature, choose an ally you can see within 30 feet of you to gain the same benefit until the start of your next turn.
In addition, when you make a Charisma (Performance) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Pirouette Escape

14th-Level College of Dance Feature

At 14th level, you can spin away from certain death's clutches. When you are hit by a critical attack from a creature you can see, you can use your reaction to expand a bardic inspiration die, turning the attack into a miss. In addition, you may move up to your movement speed away from the attacker. This movement doesn't provoke opportunity attacks.
