Base Class: Barbarian
Pure, unrelenting strength and raw fury can overcome any obstacle. The Path of the Spellbreaker allows its warriors to overcome barriers, physical and magical with their might so that none can hide from their rage. While other, weaker beings turn to magic to ascend to the pinnacles of power, warriors on this path shatter them and bring them back down to earth under heel with their brute strength. These warriors are renown for humbling even the mightiest of spellcasters once their rampage begins. As their rage builds, those on the Path of the Spellbreaker discover and learn new abilities to resist, break and bypass magical spells, enchantments and protections.
Swelling Rage
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you learn to channel the pain inflicted by magic into your strength and return it back at your enemies with even greater fury. While raging, every time you take damage from an enemy's spell (once per spell) or magical effect, you add 1 to your Strength score (maximum of 30). When your rage ends, your Strength returns to its original score.
Surging Strike
Beginning at 6th level, when you take damage from an enemy's spell, you can use your reaction to hold onto the pain and release it on your next attack. You add half the damage you took (maximum of double your Barbarian level + your Strength modifier) to your next melee weapon attack roll that hits. This pain fades and you lose the effect at the end of your next turn.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Dispelling Strike
Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to direct your attacks to break magical effects on a target instead of causing physical harm. After a melee weapon attack roll hits a target, you can choose to use Dispelling Strike, and dispel a magical effect of your choice as if you were casting dispel magic. To dispel the effect, make an ability check using your Strength modifier. The DC equals 10 + the spell's level. On a successful check, the spell ends.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Blitz
Beginning at 10th level, when a creature within range of your movement speed casts a spell, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed toward the creature that cast the spell and make a melee weapon attack against that creature with advantage.
Mighty Blows
Starting at 10th level, your attacks become so mighty that spellcasters struggle to maintain their spells. While raging, all weapon attacks against a creature that is concentrating on a spell causes that creature to have disadvantage on the saving throw it makes to maintain its concentration.
Spell Aegis
Starting at 14th level, your rage allows you to stand as a bulwark against magic and much more easily resist their effects. While raging, you gain Magic Resistance and have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
