Base Class: Barbarian
Path of the Monstrosity
Chemically-Induced Anger
At 3rd level, you find the need to enhance yourself through chemical means. Upon choosing a chemical to imbibe, you begin to experience a different rage in the heat of battle. These effects only persist as long as your rage persists.
Pain Killer
The intoxication you undertake leads to being more durable and tenacious in combat. Upon entering a rage, you get the option to gain your level in temporary hit points as bonus action. These temporary hit points do not stack.
Pure Alcohol
The intoxication you undertake leads to being harder to hit in combat. Upon entering a rage, you get the option to disengage as bonus action. This does not increase your movement speed.
Stimulant
The intoxication you undertake leads to being quicker in combat. Upon entering a rage, you get the option to dash as bonus action. This does not increase your movement speed.
Metamorphosis of the Corpse
Pain Killer (High Tolerance)
You gain resistance to necrotic damage while raging and immunity to disease.
Pure Alcohol (High Tolerance)
You have immunity to the poisoned condition and resistance to poison damage while raging.
Stimulant (High Tolerance)
You gain immunity to the stunned condition while raging.
Transfiguration of the Mind
When you reach level ten, the chemical you have imbibed thus far will no longer alter your structure. In an effort to continue to enhance yourself, you take on alchemical concoctions far beyond the normal available options, altering your mental make up in the process. As a result, you gain resistance to psychic damage, and have advantage on INT, WIS, and CHA saving throws while raging.
Evolution of the Soul
At level 14, you discover the correct arcane combination with your chemical of choice to fully enhance your abilities to their full potential.
Pain Killer (Eldritch)
Upon being hit by an attack you may use your reaction to increase your AC by 5 until the start of your next turn, including against the triggering attack, as you shrug off the minor inconveniences of lesser attacks. You may this feature a number of times equal to your CON modifier per long rest.
Pure Alcohol (Eldritch)
Immediately after you hit a creature while raging you may choose to add an additional {{classlevel}} bludgeoning damage to the attack, as you slam into your foe with a drunken ferocity. You may do this a number of times equal to your STR Modifier per long rest.
Stimulant (Eldritch)
When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to reflect the damage dealt back to that creature a number of times per long rest equal to your DEX modifier by quickly redirecting their movements.
