Base Class: Barbarian
Many people scared of Green Glow. Those people not smart. Green Glow make strong, make tough.
Path of the Mutant barbarians have dedicated themselves, whether intentionally or not, to the incredible power of their twisted genetics. These wastelanders can transform into tough mutants capable of braving the endless dangers of the post-apocalypse, be it blade, bullet, or atom.
Wasteland Survivor
You have proficiency with shotguns, and you can use your Strength modifier for attack and damage rolls made with them.
(Proficiency with shotguns must be added manually on your character sheet.)
Big Monster
Starting when you take this path at 3rd level, your rage awakens a radiation-induced mutagenic gene, transforming you into a gruesome monster for the duration. While transformed, you gain a number of benefits:
- You gain resistance to radiation damage, and all Rad buildup caused by exposure is reduced by 10 Rads.
- The bonus damage granted from your Rage feature is dealt as radiation damage.
- The damage you take from ballistics is reduced by an amount equal to your Constitution modifier.
You Hurt Puny
Beginning at 6th level, you can now use your reaction to rage. If you enter rage in response to taking damage that isn't bludgeoning, piercing, slashing, or radiation, you gain resistance to that damage type for the duration of your rage. Alternatively, if you enter rage in response to being forced to make a saving throw, you gain advantage on saving throws of the same kind for the duration of your rage.
Big Meanie
Beginning at 10th level, while raging, you can use your action to frighten people with your gross visage. When you do so, choose any number of creatures that you can see within 30 feet of you. If they can see or hear you, they must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. This effect ends if the creature ends its turn out of line of sight or more than 60 feet away from you.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of 1), regaining uses after completing a long rest. If a creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.
More Bigger Monster
Starting at 14th level, your rage-induced transformation takes on a whole new level, mutating you into an even bigger, badder monster. While raging, you gain the following benefits:
- You are immune to radiation damage.
- Your size class increases by one, to a maximum of Huge.
- Your movement speed increases by 10 feet.
- You can use the Dash action as a bonus action.
