Cleric
Base Class: Cleric

When a mortal channels the power of a Great Old One, an Elder Evil, or another incomprehensible force, they may manifest the divine powers of a cleric, rather than the arcane magic of a warlock. These eldritch heralds preach the word of their otherworldly masters, spreading insanity and uncertainty wherever they go.

Eldritch Contact

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Perception skill, and you choose to learn either the eldritch blast or vicious mockery cantrip. For you, this cantrip counts as a cleric cantrip.

Channel Divinity: Prophecy of Doom

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to cause eldritch chaos.

As an action, you choose a point you can see within 120 feet of you and roll on the Eldritch Effects table. Each creature within 15 feet of that point must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be subjected to the rolled Eldritch Effect for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Eldritch Effects

d8 Effect
1 The creature can't speak.
2 The creature takes 1d8 psychic damage at the start of each of its turns.
3 The creature is disoriented. It falls prone and does so again at the end of each turn it moves 5 feet or more.
4 The creature is distracted by visions and voices and has disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks.
5 The creature is unsure of itself. It can move or take an action on its turn, but not both, and it can't use reactions.
6 The creature is reckless. It has advantage on attack rolls and attack rolls against it have advantage.
7 The creature is deafened and can't see more than 30 feet away.
8 The creature is frightened of you.

Otherworldly Calm

Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to psychic damage, and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened. Additionally, attempts to read your thoughts fail. The creature making the attempt must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your cleric spell save DC or take 3d6 psychic damage.

Potent Spellcasting

Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Apocalyptic Prophecy

At 17th level, your otherworldly proclamations become even more powerful. The radius of your Prophecy of Doom increases to 30 feet, and creatures under the effects of your Prophecy of Doom have disadvantage on saving throws against your cleric spells.
