Base Class: Druid
Druids of the Circle of the Garden are made up of proficient botanists and grove tenders who take care of the flora in nature. They gather within secluded ancient growths or areas of dense flora to communicate about the health of the forests and groves, along with their knowledge of the flora they encounter and the ways to take care of them. These druids also gain their powers from drawing it from the flora which allow them to enhance their wildshapes to be able to take the form of plants and manipulate plants.
Glitch bandage
This is an invisible bandage placed on dndbeyond coding for this subclass made from thoughts and prayers and the sacrifice of a chicken.
Plant Shaping
Starting when you take this circle, your ties with natures flora fundamentally change your Wild Shape. When you expend a Wild Shape charge to change shape, you may now instead take the form of a plant instead of a beast. The CR of the Plant you may turn into is up to 1/3rd of your druid level rounded down.
Extra Cantrip
When you choose this Circle at 2nd level, you gain the Druidcraft cantrip if you don't already know it. If you already know the Druidcraft cantrip then you may select a different Druid cantrip. This cantrip doesn't count against the number of Druid cantrips you know.
Plant mastery
Upon reaching 6th level in this class, your mastery over plant-life only grows. When you use your Wild Shape feature to turn into a plant, you may communicate telepathically to willing creatures and any plants within 120 feet of you that you can see through unique spores you emit. It's oneway with non plants and two way with plants.
Additionally, you gain proficiency in Nature checks if you do not have it already, if you already have it then you will get expertise with the nature skill instead.
Finally. When you deliver a harmful effect through a spell using plant life such as the spell Plant Growth or the spell entangle. You may bend the plants to avoid a number of allied creatures. This feature is usable a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and must be used as the spell is cast. You regain all expanded uses of this feature on a long rest.
Garden warfare
At 10th level in this class, your capabilities of molding plants allows you turn them into a sentient and deadly weapon. You gain the ability to create a Witch Hazel as a Bonus Action.
You can create turrets this way a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expanded uses on a long rest.
You can have a maximum of 2 Witch Hazel's on the field at time. A turret lasts for 10 minutes, until you are no longer within 120 feet of it, or until reduced to 0 HP. Witch Hazel's automatically make a spell attack using your spell attack modifier, dealing a number of d6’s equal to half your proficiency bonus in necrotic or poison damage (chosen when you deploy the Witch Hazel's.)
Witch Hazels are medium sized plant creatures that have an AC of 13 + your Wisdom modifier and have maximum hit points equal to your Druid level times two. Additionally they use your save modifiers for any saving throws they must make.
War planting
Upon reaching level 14, your skills in using plants for warfare have increased. Whenever you enter your plant shape, your save DC for any ability in it is equal to your Druid save DC.
You also gain the ability to summon vines of roses with sharp thorns as an action that cover an area in a 5 feet wide 20-foot line on the ground. Every time a creature travels 5 feet through the thorns placed, they take 3d4 piercing damage. This is considered difficult terrain. You can use this ability a number of times equal to half of your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Additionally, you may begin to decompose corpses within your plant's shape. While within Plant Shape, as an action, you may consume a dead corpse by touching it. Consuming a corpse this way heals you for 5 times your Wisdom modifier and cannot be done on constructs or creatures size above medium.
This feature may be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain your use upon taking a long rest.
