Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Upon entering a rage, make an intelligence saving throw to determine which of two forms (hybrid & wolf) you transform into.

As you progress along this path, your ability to control your transformations increases.

Unpredictable Transformation

Immediately upon entering rage, roll a DC 10 intelligence saving throw. On a success you transform into the werewolf hybrid form described below. On a failure, you transform into a wolf (CR 1/4). On a 1 or a 2 roll, you lose control and may only make the following choices on your turn: (1) attack the creature nearest to you, or (2) flee combat.

Hybrid Werewolf form bonuses:

You gain +3 to your STRENGTH ability score

Your movement speed becomes 35

You grow claws, and any unarmed attack you make counts as a light melee weapon attack and deals 1d6 slashing damage.

As an action, you may make a bite attack that deals 1d8 piercing damage. If any of your attacks during your turn were made "recklessly" (using the barbarian reckless attack feature), you may make this bite attack as a bonus action.

Transformation Novice

The intelligence saving throw to determine your form lowers to DC 8. Additionally, you only lose control if you roll a 1 on the saving throw.

When you fail this saving throw, you transform into a dire wolf (CR 1) instead of a wolf.

Attacks you make in either wolf or hybrid form count as magical for the purposes of damage resistances and immunities.

Focused Transformation

The intelligence saving throw to determine your form lowers to DC 6.

The hybrid form now grants the following bonuses:

Your STRENGTH score increases by +4 (instead of +3)

Bestial Fury: when you take damage from a melee attack AND you have at least one hand free without a weapon or shield, you may use your reaction to make a claw attack at the creature that damaged you.

One with the wolf

There is no longer a saving throw when you go into rage. You can choose either the hybrid or dire wolf form.

You no longer need to enter a rage in order to take the dire wolf form. There is no limit to the amount of times per day you can do this unless you take damage in the dire wolf form. Once you take damage in the dire wolf form you cannot take the form again unless you expend one of your rages or until the next long rest.

If you go unconscious in the dire wolf form, you revert back to your human form with the amount of hit points that you had when you entered into the dire wolf form.

When raging, your strength score maximum is 22.
