Base Class: Warlock
To make a pact is to sell your soul to that patron, forever. But, there are ways to.... circumnavigate these terms and conditions. This 'self pact' was named after a prestigious, if not upstart, warlock who did exactly that. Rather having your soul sold, you convinced your patron to merely divide it, allowing a loop hole that would allow more than a single patron to give you some power. While they may not be as strong as a singular patron, the versatility can not be understated.
This is a subclass meant to be played in tandem with another Patron. Designed to support the main features and offer side gimmicks. All in the style of a warlock played by someone I know quite well (well of course I know them, they're me!)
College Degree
Your first patron was not just the otherworldly being. It was in fact a helpful professor, who wrote your current patron a letter of recommendation.
Depending on your main patron, you learn all available spells under that school. It still costs a Pact Slot to cost them. Additionally, all spells from your Main Patron's Expanded Spell list become known spells to you.
Archfey: Illusion
Celestial: Abjuration
Fathomless: Evocation
Fiend: Enchantment
Genie: Transmutation
Great Old One: Divination
Hexblade: Evocation
Undead: Necromancy
Undying: Conjuration
Anti Ego Death
Also at 1st level, the ways of the upstart Warlock have rubbed off on you, and in doing so has inflated your own arrogance.
You may add your Charisma Modifier (minimum of +1) to Performance checks, and gain expertise in Persuasion and Deception checks. Making a standard Charisma check to gain the attention of someone that you have a sexual/romantic preference for will have Advantage. Additionally, you can mask your surface level thoughts by simply thinking of yourself. Anyone trying to peer into them will only see your grandeur on full display.
Performing acts to stroke your own ego, such as taking the spotlight, or having an entire town sing your praises, earn you a token nicknamed a "Panettone". It is up to the DM acting through your Kalivia patron to determine if she should grant a Panettone for an 'egolicious' act. You can use Panettones to enhance the subclass abilities of your main Patron (e.g adding one Panettone to your Dark One's Blessing to gain one additional temporary hitpoint, subtracting 1 from the roll an undead would make against you for attacking with your Among the Dead Feature, adding one to an attack roll made with your Hexblade or Fathomless tentacle). You may only have a number of Panettones equal to your proficiency bonus.
You also count as one level higher in Warlock for the sake of gaining subclass features. This does not effect any other part of the Warlock class that would normally be effected by leveling up.
Co-partnership
When selecting this subclass, you may select another Warlock subclass. You will be mainly recognized as serving this main patron, and spells like Commune or Contact Other Plane will default to them, unless otherwise specified.
Compact
Kalivia has looked over your Pact choice made at level 3 and made a few improvements of her own. When selecting a eldritch invocation, you may select one relating to your pact without it counting towards your total amount of invocations known. Should your pact have multiple invocations, you change which one you get for free each time you level up. Additionally, the time needed to spend on the rituals of each pact is reduced by 30 minutes. This time is reduced by a further 20 minutes at level 10. Additionally, your pacts grant one additional feature:
Pact of the Chain: You gain a 2nd familiar that takes the form of a spectral raven. This raven cannot cast touch spells however. Whenever you forgo an attack to attack with your familiar's reaction, you can also attack using the raven as part of the same attack. You also gain the Animal Messenger spell, which can be casted a ritual using the raven. Additionally, you no longer need to spend a ritual casting find familiar, and can instead cast it without expending a spell slot a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
Pact of the Blade: Instead of summoning a pact weapon, you can quickdraw summon (quicksummon?) one as a bonus action, in the form of a sword. When making an attack with this quickdrawn weapon, you may add your proficiency bonus a second time to the attack roll. You may also add this bonus to the damage roll. Hit or miss, after making an attack with this quickdrawn weapon, it vanishes into shards of purple eldritch entity. You may perform this maneuver a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier (minimum of once).
Pact of the Tome: You learn three more cantrips from any class's spell list. Any writing you put into the Tome is understandable by anyone who reads it, even if they do not share a language or even have the ability to see. Creatures with lower intelligence may not fully understand what the writing says, but get a general sense of what it means. Additionally, you may use your Tome as a spell focus, ignoring any verbal or material components to a cantrip learned through the Pact of the Tome feature. As an action, you may rapidly flip through pages on your Tome, granting yourself advantage on Intelligence checks to learn or remember about something. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a short rest.
Lady Nightfire's Blessing
Your thirst for power is starting to rival your patrons. If you are attuned to a Rod of the Pact Keeper, it merges into your right arm (if any is available) as a tattoo. It no longer counts against the total amount of attuned items you have, and cannot be removed from you by any physical means. Remove Curse and Dispel Magic would briefly negate this feature, forcing the item to eject from your arm.
If you do not have a Rod of the Pact Keeper, you may expend two Panettones to borrow a spare Rod from your patron. It is of uncommon rarity, and lasts until you finish a long rest, after which it is sucked into an extradimensional space. You may expend 2 more Panettones to increase the rarity of this temporary Rod by one rarity, maximum of very rare.
Whenever you finish a long rest, you wake up with one Panettone.
Finally, your ego is so great that you may treat Wisdom saves or Intelligence saves as a Charisma save. Once you use this feature, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
Triumvirate Soul
At this point, you have learned all the rules to being a Warlock. Naturally, you now know how to break them all.
You now count as one warlock level higher for the sake of earning class features earlier. Should a warlock feature (either from the class or subclass) only recharge on a long rest, you may expend one warlock spell slot to use the feature again. You may only regain this Pact Magic slot by completing a long rest. Should you take damage from a source that your patron makes you resistant to, you can upgrade this to immunity until the start of your next turn. If your resistance has been removed in any sort of way, this feature instead grants you resistance. After you use this feature, you cannot do it again until you finish a long rest.
