Either way, word got out about their abilities drawing attention from both the good and the bad. These monks find work either by being a ring fighter or illegal street fighting. It is also normal that more than one occasion they have had bar fights and random street fights, causing them to be used to using anything and everything they have available to their advantage.

These are for the professional fighters (if you picked weight class).
Tai-quon-do: Your style is based on using your legs as much as your arms. You now gain additional strikes equal to you dexterity modifier that deal damage equal to your unarmed strike.
Karate: Your focused on taking as much damage as you can deal. As an action you can choose to get into a deep stance. You can’t move without undoing the stance but in the stance you receive 3/4 of the damage dealt to you.

If you do a successful grapple, as a bonus action you can try and pin them to the floor doing a an athletics check to do so. On your next turn you may use your action to keep the target pinned or to get up and release them.
Choose these if you choose the illegal street fighter route (if you picked Illegal Techniques).
Kyusho: This fighting style is focused on hitting pressure points to further damage the opponent. You can take a turn to study the exposed pressure points on a person. The next time you attack the person, they will have one of the 4 effects (roll d4) 1. Reduces their speed by 10ft, 2. Their next attack has less damage equal to a d8 + dexterity modifier, 3. They are knocked prone, or 4. They can’t do anything their next turn.
Wing Chun: This form is made to deal damage to vital parts of the body such as the lungs. When you attack you can roll a d20 once per short rest or long rest to deal twice as much damage that turn.

The Underdogs Spirit
You have been through a lot of ups and downs, and yet you keep on fighting, no matter what, and when the odds seem unfavorable, you just fight harder. Whenever a teammate goes down you get advantage against the person that knocked them out for 3 turns and if they killed them you get advantage against them for the rest of the battle. If you are the last one on the team you gain extra turns every round equal to the amount of people in the party, excluding you.
