Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks who follow the Way of Todo displace space around them to enhance their mobility and utility in both teams and on-on-one fights. Their fighting styles are normally unorthodox yet simple and often incorporate disorientating their foes before landing critical blows. However their capability to use this to support allies is not one to be overlooked.

Boogie Woogie

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level you gain access to the power of Boogie Woogie. This allows monks of this path to distort space around them to gain the upper hand in combat. As an action you can use Boogic Woogie to instantly swap places with another creature or object that you can see. If a target is moving when Boogie Woogie is used they maintain their momentum.

The targeted creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against you Ki save DC and are unaffected on a success. A creature can choose to fail this saving throw. A target that is unaware of the ability or has not previously been effected by it has disadvantage on this saving throw. The target also has disadvantage if they are within 5ft of another hostile creature or are not focused on you.

When Boogic Woogic is used on a willing creature, they will have advatnage on attacks against all creatures within 5ft of the position they are swapped to until the start of the next round. When used on an unwilling creature, all attacks made by creatures within 5ft of their new position are made with advantage until the start of their next turn.

As a bonus action after using, Boogie Woogie you can make an unarmed strike against a creature within your melee range. A creature who has been swapped by Boogie Woogic can make a melce attack as a reaction as long as they did not make the saving throw with disadvantage.

Displacer Dance

By 6th level your experience in using Boogie Woogie has developed to being able to target beings other than yourself.

As an action can spend 1 Ki point to use Boogie Woogie to swap the psotitions of another creature and an item as long as both can be scen.

Can also, as an action, spend 2 Ki points to swap the positions of two creatures other than yourself as long as both can be seen. If one of the targets is willing then the other immediately fails the saving throw.

Showing One’s Cards

Reaching 11th level with tradition grants access to the Pact of Showing One's Cards. At the start of combat or at any point before using, Boogie Woogie you can choose to reveal to an enemy what the effect of the ability is. In order for this pact to take effect you must reveal at the very least that Boogic Woogie swaps the position of two targets, however the specific criteria of what must be disclosed is up to your DM. The creature must have an Intelligence greater than 4 and must be able to understand you. This pact can only be performed a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus and all expended uses are regained after a long rest.

When this pact has taken effect, the creature that you have revealed your technique to will not have disadvantage imposed upon it from the criteria described previously but your capabilities with Boogie Woogie become boosted. These benefits last until the end of combat.

Can use Boogie Woogie as a bonus action after all actions.

: The cost of features granted by Displacer Dance are

reduced in cost, swapping a creature and an object does not cost any Ki points and swapping two creatures only costs 1 Ki point.

When revealing, your techique to an enemy you can also attempt to mislead them by fabricating or omitting details regarding, your capabilitics. If an enemy is successfully mislead then they will have disadvange on the saving throw against Boogic Woogie when effected in a way that they were mislead about. For example, if you were to mislead a creature about being able to swap with objects anf then swap them with an object.

Enhanced Boogie

By 17th level you have unlocked the full potential of Boogie Woogie. You can now use Boogie Woogie on any targets within 40ft of yourself in any direction without needing to be able to see them. You can sense when a potential target is within range however you will not know their exact location unless you swap with them. Can also spend 1 Ki point to use Boogic Woogic as a rcaction to sccing an attack happening against a creature thast is not yourself. If an attack is being made against you, can spend 2 Ki points to use Boogie Woogie as a reaction but only to swap with another creature.
