Way of Gun-Fu

Monks that follow the way of Gun-Fu combine their knowledge of Ki and the newly discovered technology of firearms in a complex fightingstyle that can be used both in close quarters and in long range. Many traditional monasteries and cloisters look down on the monks using these new tools of destruction, but those who embrace the progress of technology have learned to use these weapons as an extension of their own body, being similar to a Kensei in their precision.

Ki-Fueld Marksman

At 3rd level, you are trained to incorporate your use of firearms into close quarters combat, giving you the following benefits:

• Marksman. You are proficient in firearms. Any firearm that lacks the two-handed property counts as a monk weapon for you. Additionally, attacking while within 5 feet of a hostile creature does not impose disadvantage on your attack if you are using a firearm as a monk weapon for that attack.
• Fast Reloads. When one of your firearms is out of bullets, you can use your reaction to reload that weapon. You do not need a free hand to do so.
• Flurry of Shots. When using your Flurry of Blows Feature, you can replace one of the attacks with an attack from one of your firearms that counts as a monk weapon for you.

Quick Draw

At 6th level, you have learned to strike faster than anyone else. When Initiative is rolled you can use your reaction to pull out a firearm and make a single attack with it. You have advantage on that attack.

One with the Powder

At 11th level, you gain the ability to focus some of your power directly into your bullets. As an action, you touch a stack of up to 20 nonmagical bullets and can spend between 1 to 3 ki points to make these bullets magical and give them a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to the amount of Ki-Points you spent. They stay this way for 8 hours or until you finish a long rest.

Quick Strikes

At 17th level, you have mastered the combination of close quarters combat and use of your firearms. Once per turn, when you make an unarmed strike as part of your attack action, you can make one attack with one of your firearms as a free action.
