Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your innate magic comes from a deep connection to the Astral Plane. You may trace your lineage to an entity of that place or somehow became exposed to it in a manner that suffused you with its essence and nature.

Your astral nature creates minor changes to your appearance. Your hair may become silver in color, or at least streaked with silver strands. Your eyes may change colors depending on the angle they are looked at from. People that meet you sometimes confuse you with a character they dreamed about.

Psychic Resilience

Starting at 1st level, you gain resistance to psychic damage and you have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Astral Inspiration

Starting at 1st level, you receive mysterious knowledge from your dreams as your soul touches on the astral planes. You can recall this knowledge while you are awake to provide yourself with a benefit that lasts 10 minutes. Doing so requires an action, and you can only do it twice. You regain all uses of this feature when you complete a long rest. Choose one of the following benefits when using this feature:

  • You gain proficiency with a skill, tool or weapon of your choice.
  • You learn about the dreams of a creature you are touching and gain advantage on the next Charisma check made against it.

Psychic Rebuke

At 6th level, you gain the ability to rebuke foes through your astral influence. When a creature that you can see hits you with an attack, you can use your reaction to spend 1 sorcery point and cause the creature to make a Charisma saving throw. The creature takes 2d6 psychic damage and becomes stunned until the end of your next turn on a failed saving throw.

Mind Shift

At 14th level, your connection to the Astral is greatly reinforced. You may use the minds of your allies as a conduit for your movement. As a bonus action, you can teleport to an empty space within 5 feet of a willing creature that can see you, if that creature is not more than 60 feet away from you.

Astral Traveler

Starting at 18th level, you can spend 6 sorcery points as an action to cast Astral Projection as an action, and without requiring any material components. Your astral body and those of every creature traveling into the Astral Plane with you gain temporary hit points equal to your Sorcerer level.
