Exploit Weakness

When you choose this subclass at 3rd level you gain advantage on Charisma (Intimidation) and Intelligence (History, Nature) checks in order to find out a creatures' weaknesses. This may include the targets vulnerabilities or any negative feature the target has, such as a vampires sunlight hypersensitivity or a lycanthropes weakness to silver.

Additionally if you attack a creature using a damage type they are vulnerable to or whilst they are under the effect of a negative feature, you deal an additional 10 damage to the creature and may make an additionally attack against them as a bonus action. This damage increases to 15 when you reach 12th level

Vendetta

Additionally at 3rd level if you are reduced to 0 hit-points by a creature, you gain advantage on all attack rolls against that creature for 1 minute.

Dominate

At 7th level you gain the ability to bend others to your will.

When you are within 5ft of a creature with 0 hit-points or a creature which has been knocked unconscious through force you may attempt to dominate them. The target must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. The target has disadvantage on the saving throw if it is frightened of you or if they were reduced to 0 hit-points using your Exploit Weakness feature. On a failure the target regains 10 hit-points and is dominated. You can issue commands to the creature while you are conscious (no action required), which it does its best to obey. You can specify a simple and general course of action, such as Attack that creature, Run over there, or Fetch that object. If the creature completes the order and doesn't receive further direction from you, it defends and preserves itself to the best of its ability. This effect lasts forever or until the target succeeds a Charisma saving throw equal to your ranger level which is can make once per day. If the creatures CR is higher than your ranger level, then they may do so with advantage.

On a success, or after breaking the effect then the target is permanently immune to this feature.

You may use this feature equal to your Wisdom modifier per long rest.

Shadow Strike

At 11th level, When you hit a creature within 90 ft of you with a ranged attack roll, you can choose to teleport to an unoccupied space next to the creature.

You may use this feature equal to twice your Wisdom modifier per short rest.

Bright Lord

At 15th level you gain the following benefits:

  • Dominated creatures must now make a Charisma saving throw to end the domination once per week instead of once per day.
  • After dominating a creature you and the creature gain 20 temporary hit-points.
  • You have advantage on death saving throws
  • You gain advantage on saving throws to avoid or end the charmed condition
  • Whenever you use your exploit weakness feature, you ignore a creatures damage resistances and immunities until the end of your next turn.
