Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

A slasher. A crude way to describe a man who can kill with unparalleled skill. Someone who makes you wonder if they are even there, or if they can even be killed. You embody this feeling of uncertainty and fear in your methods, one of many ways to take out whoever you wish.

Horrifying Strike

Whenever you strike you can inflict fear on those around you. Whenever you perform a sneak attack you force your opponent to make a Wisdom save where the save is DC 8 + your Dexterity modifier + your proficiency bonus. If they fail this save they become frightened. They have disadvantage on the save if you are the only one who attacked them in combat.

Fear of pain

Those who fear you shall know true pain. Whenever you attack a foe that has the fear status, your sneak attack damage is rolled twice and you use the higher total.

Disappearing Act

Those who are afraid tend to be less aware of what's around them. Whenever you inflict fear, the inflicted target cannot see you until the end of your next turn. You may use a bonus action to teleport behind a target that can't see you.

Brutal Finisher

You have finished playing with your food, time to end them. Once per combat when attacking a feared target within 5 feet you may negate any disadvantage you have and deal maximum sneak attack damage. If the target drops to zero hit points everyone within 15 feet must make a WIS save equal to half of the sneak attack damage.

Unending Terror

They can try to end their night of horror, but you always come back. When you drop to zero hit points, you instead turn invisible and roll your sneak attack dice. You heal for the amount rolled and teleport anywhere within 30 feet. You will leave behind a fake body and the first person you hit after will be inflicted with fear.
