Base Class: Rogue
You have spent your life hiding in the mists. Swirling clouds of fog are your friend, a protective covering that hides you from prying eyes. You become well-versed in navigating without relying on your sight and striking foes you cannot see, while remaining hidden from view.
Mistweaver
Beginning at 3rd level, you can summon mists at any time and gain the ability to peer through them. You gain the ability to cast fog cloud as a bonus action at 2nd level, as well as 20ft of blindsight permanently. Fog clouds produced using this feature must be centered on yourself but will travel with you if you desire it. Once you have used this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier, you must complete a long rest before you can use it again.
One with The Red Mist
Starting at 3rd level, you are comfortable when surrounded by fog and your movements become light like you yourself are mist . When you are surrounded by mists, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth and acrobatics checks) and can move an additional 10ft on your turn while under the cover of mist. In addition moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs no extra movement if you are under the cover of mist.
Choking Mist
Starting at 9th level, you have learned the nuances of the mist and manipulate them to devastating effect. Once in the mist, the air becomes thick affecting all other creatures inside. Chocking mist activates once you enter the mist, decreasing movement of all other creatures in the mist by 5 ft and allowing you to make a DC 15 perception check as a free action on any creature you can sense in fog. On a successful check your next sneak attack will deal double sneak attack damage as well as leave the recipient of the blow frightened. creatures struck using this feature run away in the direction the perceive the threat to be coming from. You may use choking mist to increase your sneak attack damage a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per encounter.
Mist Knife
Beginning at 13th level, you can create a weapon out of mist, While in the mist, you gain access to a mistknife, a dagger made entirely out of mist. It has all the properties of a +2 rapier except that it leaves no visible wounds on the target. Instead, the damage it deals is internal and causes the target to bleed for an additional 1d4 health at the beginning of each of their turns for three rounds.
Toxic fog Technique
At 13th level, you can infuse your fog with the Cloudkill ability, spreading poison through your mist while you yourself are immune to its effects.
One With The Mists
At 17th level, you are so familiar with the mists that you can melt into them yourself. You can cast the spell Gaseous Form on yourself at Will.

Posted Jun 16, 2024i made this similar to the "Mist Walker" class made by Arkamus. i liked it but it was kind of weirdly written and didn't flow into itself that well. so i re-wrote it with my own touches. and while it is now a pretty powerful subclass i don't think it crosses into the realm of op. i made a few touches to bring the power down already. my goal was that you could main this class and not have to worry about going fighter for a second attack, or going something like soulknife. not everyone wants to or has the book to play soulknife online, but hey i hope u like it and shoutout to arkamus for the cool class and inspo. oh and this was only meant for me originally but i figured people might like it so enjoy ;)
