Base Class: Bard
College Of Depression bards have a deep well of internal turmoil and hurt that they draw from for performances. They are powerful and often unpredictable. From muted apathy and anhedonia to volatile irritability that borders on fury, a College Of Depression bard will be a devoted party member when treated with understanding and acceptance.
Apathetic Woe
Your dispassionate demeanor gives others pause. You can use your reaction to turn an attack against you from advantage to straight, or from straight to disadvantage. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your charisma modifier per short rest.
Unbalanced Worth
You doubt your abilities even when you're inspiring others. An ally can choose to roll with advantage on the d20 when using your bardic inspiration. Call even or odds before the inspiration die is rolled, if the result is opposite of what you called, your next roll is with disadvantage.
Song Of Emptiness
Your performances are sorrowful and haunting. When a creature attacks you for the first time, they must make an intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC or become frightened of you.
Additionally, you have advantage against being frightened or charmed. Your countercharm can end these effects on others if you pass a Performance check equal to your spell save DC. You can now activate countercharm as a bonus action.
Irritability Flood
You simply can't take it anymore and start lashing out in hurtful ways. You now have the option to enhance your Vicious Mockery cantrip, substituting the damage die with the same die as your bardic inspiration. However, this Despairing Mockery will force you to take a level of exhaustion if the target fails the saving throw.
