Bard
Base Class: Bard

Secrets and mysteries, lies and deception layered upon one another. Even the College of Whispers is unaware of the Order of Silence, completely hidden from the world and sworn to an oath that means they cannot betray the cause of the order. An enigma wrapped in a riddle hidden inside a mystery, those who are part of the Order are completely detached from the real world, displaying grand feats of deception, and able to lie both brazenly and convincingly to demon, man, and god with ease.

Beware the Order of Silence, for you have no idea of their presence, until it's far too late.

Absolute Silence

3rd-level Order of Silence feature

You may use your bardic inspiration to silence the world around you. You may target a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you, and expend a bardic inspiration die as an action. That creature must make a Charisma saving throw against your spellsave DC. On a failure, they fall under the effects of the silence spell for a number of rounds equal to your charisma modifier. You may do so a number of times equal to half your proficency bonus (rounded down) per short rest.

You also no longer need to provide verbal components for your spells.

At 9th level, you may target up to two creatures, and at 15th level you may target up to four creatures.

Web of Lies

3rd-level Order of Silence  feature

Your ability to lie convincingly allows you to score the upper hand. Whenever you succeed on a deception check, you may add your charisma modifer to the next check, saving throw, or attack roll you make.

If you use the charisma bonus on another deception check, you automatically succeed on the check.

You may preform this feat a number of times equal to your proficency bonus per long rest.

Deceptive Strike

6th-level Order of Silence feature

You may make a deception check contesting an insight check from a creature within 10 feet of you. On a success, the next time you hit that creature, it counts as a critical hit. On a failure, the next time that creature targets you, they have advantage on their attack rolls. You may do this once per long rest.

Silent Symphony

14th-level Order of Silence feature

When you use your Absolute Silence feature, you may expend a second bardic inspiration die to create a zone of silence. Every creature of your choice within a 40 foot radius centered on you becomes deafened, and unable to speak. While in this radius, deafened creatures take 2d8 psychic damage at the start of your turn. The radius is active for 1 minute. You may do this once per long rest.

You may also lie while under the effects of zone of truth and similar magic with no penalties.

At 20th level, the damage increases to 4d8 psychic damage.
