Base Class: Barbarian
A
Slayer Form
When you rage, you take on a sinuously deadly slayer form, covered in spines. You gain four clawed arms, a sharply pointed tail, and a cleaving mandible, all of which grant mechanical benefits. The perks are as follows:
Your size becomes large, unless it is already large or greater. This increases your reach by 5 ft
Your creature type becomes a monstrosity, rendering you immune to effects that cannot target monstrosities.
Your legs become powerful enough to rupture the earth when you leap, dealing 2d6+str damage to everyone and everything touching the ground within 20 feet of you. Creatures can avoid this damage with a saving throw with a constitution saving throw (DC 8 + PB + your strength modifier)
Your gear is melded into your new form, rendering it unusable. However, you gain new weapons in the form of your various deadly appendages. Your claws deal 1d6 base slashing damage and have the finesse and light properties. Your mandible attack deals 1d12 base piercing damage and has the heavy property. Your tail deals 1d8 base piercing damage, has the reach property, and allows you to make a grapple attempt whenever you land an attack with it. You may subsequently slam a target grappled by your tail with an attack for 2d6 base bludgeoning damage. These attacks get bonuses to hit and damage that scale with your class level: +1 at 5th level, +2 at 11th, and +3 at 17th.
This form has a weakness though: dismemberment. Any time you take damage greater than your PB + constitution modifier * 2, you must make a constitution saving throw (DC 15 or half the damage taken: whichever is higher.) failing that results in you losing an appendage and the corresponding action (keep in mind you have 4 claws) of your choice, or of the enemy’s choice if you failed the save by 5 or more. Limbs lost in this form are regenerated when next you transform.
Aura of Murder
At the start of your turn, you may decide to surround yourself with an aura of murder, making all creatures within 5 feet of you (or 15 feet if in slayer form) vulnerable to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. If they are resistant, it gets rid of the resistance but does not add a vulnerability. This has no effect on creatures immune to such damage. This feature affects you and your allies as well as your enemies.
Unholy Assassin
Baahl grants you a shape shifting power to help you get close to more protected targets. You can cast the disguise self spell at will, and when you do, the changes hold up to physical inspection.
Gore Bath
Your attacks in slayer form become even more brutal. You can bathe in an enemy’s gore when you hit them with one o f your slayer form melee attacks. When you do, you regenerate 1d6 hit points at the start of your turn every turn until your rage ends.
Unstoppable
Lord Bhaal’s chosen does not go down easy. If you are subjected to an effect which moves you or deals damage, you may negate the effect and reduce the damage to one. You can do this a number of times per long rest equal to your proficiency bonus.
