Base Class: Monk
You are a monk that follows a tradition about harnessing your ki as lightning that surges throughtout your body this lightning gets stronger and flows easier as the energy inside of you raises in power
Surging Strike
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can spend 1 ki point to add 1d8 of lightning damage to whenever you make a unarmed strike or use ki to help with a attack
You also gain a resistance to lightning damage if you already have a resistance to lightning damage it becomes a immunity to lightning damage
Lightning Burst
At 6th level, you can use 3 ki points to burst the lightning inside of you any creature in 30ft radius must make dexterity saving throw if any creature are 5ft from eachother they automatically fail the saving throw if they fail they take 5d6s of lightning damage on sucessful save they take half the damage
Ki Conduction
Beginning at 11th level, you can conduct ki lightning than shoot it through the floor to do one of the effects
- Regeneration surge: the ki lightning surge heals one target for 10d4s in a 120ft radius
- Deadly surge: the ki lightning surge damages one target for 10d4s in a 120ft radius and must roll a dexterity saving throw and if failed they fall prone
you can do this once per long rest then you can do for 5 ki points
Lightning Overload
At 17th level, you gain the ability to spend 5 ki points for the lightning inside of you to overload and to create a shell of lightning you gain the following effects for 1 hour
- Your walk speed becomes your current walk speed+120ft
- any physical contact with you causes whoever touches you to take 3d12 lightning damage
- you can fit into spaces of any size
- you fire all of the lightning inside you at a target that target must make a dexterity saving throw if failed they are instantly paralyzed and take 15d8s of lightning damage on sucess they are only paralyzed, this immediatly ends the lightning overload
