Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You use you talent to gain advantage over your enemies.

Invoke misfortune

Starting at 3rd level, you gain a number of misfortune dice equal to your proficiency modifier. At level 3 your misfortune die is a d6 and increases as you progress in this class. You regain all expended misfortune dice when you finish a long rest.

Whenever a creature that you can see within 30ft of you makes an ability check, saving throw or attack roll, as a reaction you can expend one misfortune die to reduce their outcome by the number rolled.

Your misfortune die increases to 1d8 (lvl 13) and 1d10 (lvl 17)

Black cat

Starting at 3rd level, you learn how to assume a much more unnoticable form. You can assume the shape of a Black cat. This transformation lasts for 10 minutes. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency modifier. You regain all expended uses after finishing a long rest.

At level 9 the duration of the transformation is extended to 1 hour.

Improved misfortune

Starting at level 9, whenever you roll a misfortune die, you may roll it one additional time and use the highest result.

Aura of misfortune

At 13th level, you can use your action to create an aura centered on yourself, that makes it impossible for creatures of your choice within a 30ft radius of yourself to gain advantage.

Persistent misfortune

Starting at 17th level, as an action you can expend one misfortune die to alter the luck of a creature of your choice that you can see for 1 minute. All ability checks, saving throws and attack rolls that creature makes during that minute are reduced by the number rolled. That creatures luck cant be altered in any other way during that time.

In addition, every time you roll a misfortune die, you may roll it one additional time (three times) and use the highest roll.
