Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Boomerang Fist was first founded in the realm of Sakuraidia, where a group of monks came together and discovered how to extend their limbs and strike foes from afar.
Boomerang Strike
At 3rd level, you learn to infuse your unarmed strikes with a unique energy that allows you to make ranged attacks with them. You can make a Boomerang Strike as a ranged attack with a range of 20/60 feet. When you use Flurry of Blows, you can replace one of the melee attacks with a Boomerang Strike.
Channeling Return
At 3rd level, when you make a Boomerang Strike, the attack returns to you on a hit or a miss, allowing you to catch it as a reaction. You can make one additional Boomerang Strike per turn by catching and immediately throwing it again.
Boomerang Techniques
At 6th level, you gain the following techniques to enhance your Boomerang Strikes:
- Piercing Throw: Your Boomerang Strikes ignore half cover and three-quarters cover.
- Ricochet Strike: After a Boomerang Strike hits a target and returns to you, you can choose to redirect it to a different target within 10 feet of the original target, making another attack roll.
Cyclone Fury
At 11th level, you can spend 3 ki points to create a Boomerang Cyclone as an action. You throw your Boomerang Strikes in rapid succession at up to three targets within 20 feet of each other. Make separate attack rolls for each target. After hitting or missing, the Boomerang Strikes return to you. You can then make an additional Boomerang Strike against a single target within 20/60 feet.
Infinite Loop
At 17th level, your mastery over Boomerang Strikes reaches its peak. When you use the Flurry of Blows feature, you can make all four unarmed strikes as Boomerang Strikes. Additionally, you can choose to use Stunning Strike without spending ki points when making a Boomerang Strike.
