Base Class: Rogue
A Reaper rogue specializes in executions and developing extreme fear over their opponents. Focusing mostly in hand-to-hand combat, they masterize their skills in order to embrace the fears of their opponents and use it to its own advantage.
Frightful Strikes
Starting at 3rd level, you learn to develop fear on your targets. Whenever you deal damage to a creature with your sneak attack, the creature must succeed a Charisma Saving Throw or be frightened by you for 1 minute. The DC of the saving throw equals to (8 + your proficiency modifier + your dexterity modifier).
Terrifying Critical
When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn how to use the fear of your enemies to your favor. You have advantage on your melee weapon attacks against any frightened creature. Also, any hit you score against a frightened creature score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20.
At 9th level, any melee weapon attack you hit against a frightened creature is considered a critical hit.
At 17th level, any attack you hit against a frightened creature is considered a critical hit.
Terrifying Presence
By 9th level, you can terrify others just by staring at them. Any hostile creature rolling for a Charisma Saving Throw has disadvantage on the roll if you are within 60ft of that creature. You also become immune to the charmed and frightened conditions.
Also, any creature frightened by you still has disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks even if you are not within its field of view. Frightened creatures can still move towards your direction as long as they don't see you.
Dread Killing
Starting at 13th level, you can expand the fear you cause to nearby creatures. Whenever you kill a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can choose a number of creatures up to your proficiency modifier within 30ft of you. The chosen creatures cannot take any reactions and have their movement speed reduced to 0, they are also frightened until the end of your next turn. If any of the chosen creatures is already frightened, that creature falls prone and drops anything it is currently holding.
Walking Phobia
When you reach 17th level, you can make a target become frightened even if the creature is immune to this condition and any creature frightened by you has their movement speed reduced to 10ft.
Also, any frightened creature remains frightened if you are within 60ft of it, regardless of duration.
