Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Stoics embody unshakable resolve and serene fortitude. Drawing inspiration from epic poems of unwavering warriors and the wisdom of sound-minded scholars, they bolster their allies with an immovable spirit. Their performances instill courage, perseverance, and mental clarity, transforming them into pillars of strength in times of chaos and doubt.
Martial Training
When you join this college at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Martial weapons and training with Medium armor and Shields.
Stable Mind
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your Action to end one effect on yourself that is causing you to be Charmed or Frightened.
Resolute Words
Also at 3rd level, you bolster the resolve of your allies. When a creature within 60 feet of you that you can see takes damage, you can use your Reaction to expend one use of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die, and reduce the damage by an amount equal to the number rolled + your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1).
If you reduce the damage to 0 using this ability, you regain 1 expended use of your Bardic Inspiration.
Force of Personality
Starting at 6th level, you can overcome obstacles by sheer will. When you are forced to make a saving throw, you can use your Reaction to expend one use of Bardic Inspiration and change the saving throw type to a Charisma saving throw.
If you succeed on the saving throw, you can give the Bardic Inspiration die to an ally within 60 feet of yourself who can see or hear you, as part of the same Reaction.
Authoritative Presence
Also at 6th level, your domineering spirit shakes your enemies. As a Bonus Action, you take a stoic stance or unleash booming words. Choose a number of creatures up to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) within 60 feet of you that can see or hear you. Each creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or have Disadvantage on attack rolls until the start of your next turn.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you complete a Long Rest.
Potent Inspiration
Starting at 14th level, if a creature rolls a number on your Bardic Inspiration die that is lower than your Charisma modifier, it can use your Charisma modifier instead of the number rolled.
