Base Class: Monk
Monks who follow the Way of the Verdant Spirit draw their strength from the life force of nature itself. These monks develop a deep bond with the flora and fauna around them, channeling the vitality and resilience of the natural world into their martial arts. Through meditation and rigorous training, they learn to harness the energy of the wilds, using it to heal allies, enhance their physical abilities, and even manipulate plants and animals in their environment.
Commune with Nature
At 3rd level, you can cast speak with plants or speak with animals without expending a spell slot. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier, and you regain all uses after a long rest. Additionally, you can sense the presence of natural spirits and plant life within a 60-foot radius.
Nature’s Grasp
When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can spend 1 ki point to summon a tangle of vines that wrap around the target. The creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained until the end of your next turn.
