Base Class: Barbarian
While many ferocious combatants can tap into a deep reservoir of buried rage, bloodragers have an intrinsic power that seethes within. Like sorcerers, bloodragers’ veins surge with arcane power. While sorcerers use this power for spellcasting, bloodragers enter an altered state in which their bloodline becomes manifest, where the echoes of their strange ancestry lash out with devastating power. In these states, bloodragers can cast some arcane spells instinctively. The bloodrager’s magic is as fast, violent, and seemingly unstoppable as their physical prowess.
Spellcasting
3rd-level Path of the Bloodrager Feature
You gain the ability to cast spells. See Spell Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spell Listings for the sorcerer spell list.
Cantrips
You learn three cantrips: shocking grasp and two other cantrips of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. You learn another sorcerer cantrip of your choice at 10th level.
Spell Slots
The Bloodrager Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your sorcerer spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell expeditious retreat and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast expeditious retreat using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level sorcerer spells of your choice, two of which you must choose from the evocation and transmutation spells on the sorcerer spell list.
The Spells Known column of the Bloodrager Spellcasting table shows when you learn more sorcerer spells of 1st level or higher. Each of these spells must be an evocation or transmutation spell of your choice, and must be of a level for which you have spell slots. For instance, when you reach 7th level in this class, you can learn one new spell of 1st or 2nd level.
The spells you learn at 8th, 14th, and 20th level can come from any school of magic.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the sorcerer spells you know with another spell of your choice from the sorcerer spell list. The new spell must be of a level for which you have spell slots, and it must be an evocation or transmutation spell, unless you’re replacing the spell you gained at 8th, 14th, or 20th level.
Spellcasting Ability
Constitution is your spellcasting ability for your sorcerer spells, since your body seethes with the raw magic of your latent power. You use your Constitution whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Constitution modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a sorcerer spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier
Spellcasting Focus
You can use melee weapon as a spellcasting focus for your sorcerer spells.

Blood Casting
3rd-level Path of the Bloodrager Feature
Your rage imbues your body with magic, allowing you to focus on your innate abilities. While your Rage is active, you gain the following benefits:
Arcane Channeling. You can maintain Concentration, and you can cast spells provided by a Barbarian Feature, Racial/Lineage Trait or Feat. Spells from other classes still cannot be cast or concentrated on.
Seeping Fury. If your Rage is still active on your next turn, you can extend the Rage for another round by maintaining Concentration on a spell, or have used the Magic action to cast a spell allowed by the Arcane Channeling Feature.
Sanguine Strike
6th-level Path of the Bloodrager Feature
While your Rage is active, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn, you can cast one of your cantrips in place of one of those attacks.
Bloodrage
10th-level Path of the Bloodrager Feature
As part of the Bonus Action you take to enter your Rage, you can use the Magic action to cast a spell. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action or 1 bonus action and have a range of touch or self. If the spell has a duration of 1 minute or more, it instead lasts for the duration of the rage.
Cleansing Blood
14th-level Path of the Bloodrager Feature
Your blood boils with protective magic. At the start of your turn, you can remove one of the following conditions from yourself: Charmed, Frightened, Poisoned, and Stunned. In addition, you gain a number of temporary hit points equal to your barbarian level.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
