Backstory

Those who follow the Lord of The Gray, know of his true nature: A selfless man, willing to throw all of himself for love. Through his teachings he grew an order that helped in the control of undead. Controlling mindless ones with ease and being them under foot of his Deity, The Evening Glory. through many sacrifices, tribulations, personal sacrifices and self discovery The Gray eventually reached acknowledgment from his goddess, as she granted her boon upon him. Becoming a Demigod, The Gray used his new immortality to assist the realm in new ways, and with such the Gray Order was born. Group of extremely skilled clerical necromancers chosen among selected beings of faith, beings of undeath with pure intent, Highest Ranking members of the Evening Glory’s cult, or skilled honest wizards.

Dogma

The Gray followed the Evening Glory’s Dogma religiously, and it was:

“The Evening Glory teaches that desire is all that matters, regardless of creed, and nationality: And the desire for the love of another should never be allowed to fail through the depredations of age. Those whose love transcends life should seek life everlasting through the grace of undeath. The perfect preservation may freeze love forever. While the resurrection of tragically slain lovers may do for some, nothing can stay old age’s imperious final call—love is all that matters in life, above other things, and that it must be preserved through the embrace of undeath.”
