Base Class: Paladin
The Oath of the Seraph is followed by Paladins with a strong connection to a celestial being, an angel in most cases. Whether you're an Aasimar now pledged to the ideals of your ancestor, or simply a warrior who needed help at a time of need and reached to the Upper Planes, or even a criminal that seeks repentance but does not know how to achieve that redemption without guidance; Paladins of the Oath of the Seraph bathe the battlefield in cleansing light and fiery radiance.
Tenets of the Seraph
Devotion. You shall look up to the celestial you follow, accept their commands no matter what, they know better than you ever will.
Conquest. Carve a path of radiance and light upon your celestial's enemies, cleanse the world of its foes with golden flames and a searing resolve.
Glory. Make your teacher proud, exhibit the same grace, majesty and greatness of its eminent radiant splendour and try to be like them.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of the Pack table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

Celestial Herald
Beginning when you first pick this oath at 3rd level, your celestial aide has taught you some of its magic. You learn to speak Celestial if you don’t know it already and your choice of the dancing lights, light or thaumaturgy cantrips if you don’t know it already. Whichever spell you pick, it counts as a paladin spell for you.
Channel Divinity
Also at 3rd level, you gain the following Channel Divinity options:
Alabaster Burst. As a bonus action on your turn, you can temporarily grow wings made of radiance and light, expending your Channel Divinity. You fly in a straight line, up to 30 feet in a direction you choose, and can hover until the end of your next turn. Leaving a space when you move this way leaves behind a trail of golden light that lasts until the beginning of your next turn or until an allied creature enters one of these spaces, regaining a number of hit points equal to your proficiency bonus.
Column of Radiance. As an action, you can call upon radiant flames from the upper planes, expending your Channel Divinity. A vertical column of divine fire roars down from the heavens on a 10-foot radius, 60-foot high cylinder centred on a point you can see within 60 feet of you. Creatures within the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take radiant damage equal to your paladin level + your Charisma modifier and become blinded until the end of your next turn, only taking half as much damage on a successful save.
Aura of Radiance
Starting at 7th level, you emanate an aura of golden protective light. This aura extends up to 10 feet in all directions, as long as you aren’t incapacitated, and it causes you to shed bright light for 5 feet and dim light for an additional 5 feet. You can suppress or reignite the light emanating from you as a bonus action on your turn. At 18th level, this becomes bright light for 15 feet and dim light for an additional 15 feet.
Furthermore, whenever you activate your Channel Divinity options or your Divine Smite feature, creatures of your choice within your Aura of the Luminous regain a number of hit points equal to 1d8 + half your paladin level.
Wings of Light
At 15th level, you gain the ability to manifest radiant wings as an aspect of your angel. You may retract or manifest these wings as a bonus action on your turn, and while they are active, you have a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
Furthermore, when you activate your Channel Divinity: Alabaster Burst and your wings aren't retracted, you can move an additional 15 feet, as you already have wings and don’t need to grow them. When you activate Channel Divinity: Column of Radiance, you can move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks as part of the action required to activate your Channel Divinity.
Heavenly Revelation
By the time you’ve reached 20th level, once per long rest as an action, you can become a vessel for your angel’s radiance and majesty for up to 10 minutes, gaining the following benefits for the duration:
- The radius of your Aura of Radiance becomes 240 feet, emitting bright light for 120 feet and dim light for an additional 120 feet.
- At the beginning of your turn, you gain temporary hit points equal to twice your paladin level, as a shield of radiance forms on your body. If you lose those temporary hit points before the beginning of your next turn, hostile creatures within your Aura of Radiance take radiant damage equal to half your level + your Charisma modifier.
- Your Wings of Light are active for the duration, and they grant you a flying speed equal to twice your walking speed.
