Monk
Base Class: Monk

With the fluid grace of her namesake, a crouching figure strikes. Her fists land with the power and precision of a tiger's claw, incapacitating the first guard before he can react. As the second guard turns in surprise, she vanishes into the foliage, blending seamlessly with her surroundings. She reappears like a phantom, delivering a swift blow that leaves her opponent reeling and bleeding.

Channeling the primal fury of the tiger, her movements become a blur of power and speed. Each strike lands with devastating force, leaving her foes staggering and disoriented. The bandit leader, recognizing the futility of resistance, attempts to flee. But the monk, her senses and reflexes heightened, closes the distance in an instant, delivering a final blow that brings him to his knees.

In the aftermath, she stands victorious amidst the fallen, the jungle once again serene. The spirits of the forest are appeased. The tiger's spirit within her roars quietly, satisfied with the balance restored.

Tiger's Prowess

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the Athletics and Stealth skills if you don't already have them. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses either of those proficiencies.

Additionally, you can choose to deal slashing damage instead of bludgeoning damage with your unarmed strikes.

Predatory Strikes

Starting at 6th level, you have learned to strike with the precision and ferocity of a tiger. When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, if you reduce that creature to 0 hit points, you can immediately move up to your speed without provoking opportunity attacks.

Additionally, when you make an unarmed strike, you can use your bonus action to hide without spending a ki point.

Raging Claws

At 11th level, you can now unleash a flurry of attacks with the ferocity of a tiger. When you use your Flurry of Blows, you can make one additional unarmed strike as part of the action. These attacks can target different creatures within your reach.

Additionally, when you hit a creature with one of the unarmed strikes from your Flurry of Blows, you can cause the target to bleed. The creature takes 1 damage at the start of each of its turns for 1 minute. This bleeding can be stopped if the creature or an ally uses an action to make a successful DC 10 Medicine check, or if the creature receives any healing. A creature can only be affected by one instance of this bleeding at a time.

Tiger's Fury

Starting at 17th level, you can use an action to tap into the primal fury of the tiger, gaining the following benefits for 1 minute:

  • You have advantage on all attack rolls with unarmed strikes.
  • Your movement speed increases by 20 feet.
  • When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, it takes extra damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
