Base Class: Wizard
The School of Domination wizard seeks to control, subdue and assert thier will over the essence of magic itself. They mean to limit the chaos inherent within magic and the effects of unchecked magic use in others.
Scroll Mastery
From 2nd level when you use a spell scroll to cast a spell, roll a D20. On a 10 or above the scroll is not consumed by the casting.
Intuitive Countermagic
From 2nd level, when you see a spell cast, and that spell is in your spell book, you may use your reaction to counter that spell. To do this, you roll an Arcana check, and if you roll above the DC the spell automatically fails. The DC is equal to 10 plus the level of the spell being cast (+1 for a cantrip).
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your intelligence modifier (minimum 1), regaining all uses on a long rest.
Note, using this feature does not constitute casting Counterspell, and so cannot itself be countered.
Control the Weave
From 6th level, when you cast a spell targeting a creature which requires concentration that creature either adds or deducts (your choice) your intelligence modifier from saving throws and ability checks they make while you maintain your concentration.
Resist the Arcane
From 10th level, you have resistance to all damage caused by spells and other magical effects.
Once per long rest, as a reaction to another creature within 60 feet of you being targeted by a magical effect, you may pass this resistance to them. You lose your resistance, and they gain it for 1 minute. You do not regain your resistance until you complete a long rest.
Inured to the Arcane
From 14th level you can create an antimagic around you. This can either be a 10 foot sphere, a 30 foot cone, or a 60 foot line. Once per long rest you may use a bonus action to create this field. It lasts for 10 minutes without concentration, or until you are reduced to 0 hit points, or become unconscious or incapacitated.
All magical effects, spells, and items become inert while in the field, except those produced, consumed, or worn, by you. The field moves when you do, and, if produced as a cone or line, can be redirected as part of your movement.
