Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Sorcerers of the Fated Self Bloodline receive their arcane knowledge and power, not as a legacy of their blood line, but passed back to them from creatures in the future, even those some generations not yet born. Imagine wielding spells that your future self, a powerful descendant, or even a renowned sorcerer from a time yet to come has mastered and sent back to ensure your destiny. These sorcerers are guided by glimpses of what’s to come, their actions subtly influenced by the reflections of future events echoed back into their consciousness. They pair foresight and adaptability to navigate the present with the wisdom of tomorrow.

Fated Knowledge

From first level additional knowledge is granted to you, opening up previously unknown knowledge you were destined to gain.  You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Fated Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. These spells can’t be replaced when you gain a level in this class.

Weapon Proficiency

From 1st level, you gain proficiency with firearms, and can use your Charisma modifier for attack rolls made with firearms.

Destined Dodge

When you take the dodge action, you can add your proficiency modifier to your AC until the start of your next turn.

The Path Ahead

From 6th level, you can act on the inherent precognition which imbues you with your magical essence. As an action, you can expend a number of sorcery points equal to your Charisma modifier to provide a number of fate dice equal to the number of sorcery points spent, to yourself or any number of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you. The dice last until you complete a short rest or use this feature again. Fate dice are d6's at 6th level, increasing to d8's at 8th level, and d10's at 10th level.

A fate die may be spent after any d20 roll, adding the result to the total of the roll, potentially turning a failure, into the successful hit, check, or save, that was destined to occur.

Sorcerous Shot

Also from 6th level, when you use your action to make a ranged weapon attack with a firearm, and hit, you may use your bonus action to cast a spell either targeting, or centered at, the target of your shot. The spell cannot be of a level higher than your charisma modifier. This spell ignores any normal range limits that may prevent you targeting that creature with that spell. For example, with a charisma modifier of at least +2, you could use your bonus action to cast Earthen Grasp at a creature 60 feet away which you hit with a ranged attack (using your firearm), despite the usual range on Earthen Grasp being 30 feet.

If the spell requires concentration, you must still concentrate on it.

Additionally, you no longer require an action or bonus action to reload your firearms; whenever you run low, it appears to have already been reloaded.

Intuitive Reactions

From 14th level, when you, or an ally within 60 feet of you who you can see is required to make a saving throw, you may use your reaction to warn them of impending danger, allowing them to add their choice of +3 or the outcome of a 1d6 roll, to their saving throw. They must choose to take the +3 or roll the d6 before rolling the save.

Additionally, from 14th level you can now take two reactions per turn, although may not make two reactions in response to a single trigger. It was as if you knew what to do before it happened.

Predestination

Finally, at 18th level, once per short rest, as an action, you may spend 5 sorcery points to tap into the knowledge of your future self. For the next 10 minutes, you have expertise in persuasion, insight, deception, and intimidation, as well as advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. After the minute ends, you take 2 points of exhaustion.
