Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

An elderly gnome cornered a pack some kobolds in an alley, removing the hand-axe from his tool belt and leaving nothing but a set of finely-carved dragon-hides behind.

A goliath cleaving through hordes of undead, taking hits as if they were fuel, and screaming in a gruesome combination of pain and euphoria.

An aarakocra, shot down from it's haven in the sky yet still feeling the wind of the enemy's lungs flood under their wings as they plunge and slice and stab and dismember for their error of choosing this specific opponent.

The Path of the Butcher is not one traveled by many, but instead remembered by all who encounter it's endlessly-loyal zealots. Using any manner of weapon, tactic, or tool in order to extract as much joy from the senseless desecration of your enemies

Frenzy

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can go into a frenzy after 2 turns of being within rage. You may do this by rolling a constitution saving throw with a dc of 14. Upon failure, you are removed from your rage and must wait a turn to rage once more. However, upon success, you may expend another point of rage and enter a frenzy. While in this state, you can make a single melee weapon attack against any enemy within a 10 foot radius of you. Additionally, any enemy struck prior to this on your turn cannot make opportunity attacks if you leave their combat radius.

An additional attack against a different target from one that has been struck this turn is granted at 6th, 10th, and 14th level. These attacks are made with no bonus to damage.

Bloodlust

Beginning at 6th level, you have learned to grow even more hungry for carnage, adding another level above frenzy in your rage growth. After being within frenzy for 2 turns, you may roll another dc 14 constitution saving throw. Upon failure, you are removed from both frenzy and rage. However, upon success, and the expending of another use of rage, you enter bloodlust. In this state, you may choose a creature to target, and until your bloodlust ends, you have advantage on all attacks made against that creature, and that creature has disadvantage on all attacks made against your allies. However, all creatures besides your target gain advantage on their attacks against you, and all attacks made against your target have a chance to hit you. If the attack roll made fails to hit the target with a deficit of 5 or lower, you are struck instead, taking half damage, rounded down.

You must end each round within 5 ft of your target. Failure to do so results in bloodlust ending.

Bloodlust lasts the duration of your remaining rage.

If your target dies prior to the ending of rage, you may transfer the mark onto the nearest enemy.

You retain frenzy functionality while in bloodlust, however your additional attacks against enemies cannot place you outside of walking range of your target (you must be able to return to the 5 ft cube around the subject of your bloodlust at the end of each turn).

Battle Hungry

Beginning at 10th level, gain an additional use of rage. Additionally, as an action on your turn, you may choose to expend a use of rage to regain an amount of health equal to the damage you deal on your next turn.

Gain 1 additional use of rage at level 14.

Swatting Flies

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within walking speed of you, you may use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. This attack always gains +3 damage, and does not incur opportunity attacks.

If this attack is made while you are bloodlusted, immediately travel back to your mark after making the attack, once again incurring no opportunity attacks.
