Base Class: Paladin
Tenets of Sacrifice
The Tenets of the Oath of Sacrifice drive a paladin to protect those around them and to stop at nothing to achieve their goal.
To whom you are indebted: I shall protect those who I serve before myself.
To whom you are served by: I shall protect those who serve or serve with me before myself.
To whom may be against me: I shall do all I can to destroy those who I set out to destroy, including sacrifice of all I know of.
Channel Divinity
When you take this Oath at third level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options:
Blood Drop. As an action, you can lose 3 HP to double your Lay on Hands pool. You can only double it once per long rest, and you cannot use it to heal yourself.
Shield Crusher. On your turn, you can lose one AC to make an attack you make that turn hit automatically. You can do this a number of times per long rest equal to your constitution modifier. Your AC resets at a Long Rest. This does not count as an action or reaction.
Sacrifice of Shield
The Oath of Sacrifice drives you to protect others before your self. Starting at level seven, you can give up 2 Armor Class and give it to someone within 30 feet of you. Both your AC and theirs reset once you take a long rest. You can do this multiple times per long rest, maximum being your Constitution Modifier, but be careful to leave enough AC for yourself. This does not count as an action or reaction.
Field of Power
Starting at fifteenth level, you can emit a field of power. To do so, you lose 5 HP, but within a 30 foot radius of you, all enemies have disadvantage, all allies have advantage, and all allies gain 5 HP per turn that you continue this. After the first turn, you lose 3 HP per turn. You can do this a number of times per long rest equal to your Constitution Modifier. This does not count as a action or reaction.
Aura of Sacrifice
At twentieth level, you are the avatar of sacrifice. By this point, you can assume the form of the Pillar of Sacrifice. Assuming this form takes 25 HP, and every turn after the first takes 20 HP. The effects of this form reach up to 60 feet away. While in this form:
- All enemies take 2d12 damage per turn and have disadvantage.
- All allies can deal an extra 3d10 force damage with any melee attack they make.
- Your AC is 20, attack rolls against you have advantage, and you can’t move, take action/reactions, can’t speak, and are made completely out of stone until you end your being the Pillar of Sacrifice.
You can assume this form once per long rest.
