Fighter
Base Class: Fighter

Harnessing the very elements through their bodies, Those who have learned the Dragon Breath Technique augment their combat capabilities by imbuing both their weapons and even body with Elemental Magic. As a user of this technique, you have access to an array of elements to choose from that are taken advantage of through techniques called Scale Arts which are named after the Chromatic Dragon that uses the same element. From Fire, Ice, Lighting, Poison and Acid, through proper discipline and control over your body you are capable of mastering the techniques of your chosen element and even match powers against the very dragons used to inspire your arts.

Dragon Breath Fighting

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn Scale Arts of your choice that are fueled by Focus Points.

Scaled Styles. You learn how to gather elemental magic and how to focus it into the art of combat. A Scaled Style represents what kind of element you shall use and what dragon you'll represent, (the Red Scaled Style represents Fire and a Red Scale Dragon for example). Once you pick a Scaled Style, you will be incapable of branching out into another.

Scale Arts. Once a Scaled Style is learnt, you will learn its Scale Arts. Scale Arts are the techniques of the Scaled Style and serve to enhance your body or weapon through your element. You can only use one type of Scale Art a turn and can only use three scale arts per round. If a Scale Art were to last more than a round (Say 1 minute as example) that Scale Art would still be considered being used, so you could only use two Scale Arts that round if the other is still active.

Focus Points. You gain a collection of points used to fuel your Scale Arts. Your total Focus points equal to your level in fighter plus your proficiency bonus. You gain all expended points back on a long rest and can regain points on a short rest by expending an additional hit die, the amount you get from it determined by what you roll.

Saving Throws. Certain Scale Arts may require a creature to make a saving throw. The Saving Throw DC equals 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Constitution Modifier.
