Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

The Divine Fury Barbarian is a unique subclass that combines the raw power of a barbarian with the divine might of a chosen deity. Upon choosing this path at 3rd level, barbarians can infuse their rage with divine energy, dealing extra damage of a type associated with their deity. As they progress, they gain Sacred Resilience, offering resistance to the chosen damage type and advantage on saving throws against spells while raging. At 10th level, they can retaliate with a Vengeful Strike, and at 14th level, they become an Avatar of Fury, enhancing their damage and providing an aura that bolsters allies and hinders foes. This subclass offers a versatile and thematic playstyle, perfect for players who want their barbarian to be both a fierce warrior and a divine champion.

Divine Wrath

When you choose this path at 3rd level, you select a deity to channel your rage through. While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra damage of a type associated with your deity (fire, radiant, necrotic, etc.) equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Divine Wrath: Fire

While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra fire damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Divine Wrath: Force

While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra force damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Divine Wrath: Lightning

While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra lightning damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Divine Wrath: Necrotic

While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra necrotic damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Divine Wrath: Radiant

While raging, your weapon attacks deal extra radiant damage equal to 1d6. This damage increases to 2d6 at 10th level and 3d6 at 14th level.

Sacred Resilience

Your deity's power fortifies your body. While raging, you gain resistance to the damage type associated with your deity. Additionally, you have advantage on saving throws against spells that require a Dexterity, Constitution, or Wisdom saving throw.

Vengeful Strike

When you take damage from a creature within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature. If the attack hits, it deals extra divine damage equal to your Rage damage bonus.

Avatar of Fury

Once per rage, you can invoke the full might of your deity for 1 minute. During this time, your Divine Wrath damage increases to 3d6, and you emit an aura of divine power in a 10-foot radius. Allies within the aura have advantage on attack rolls and saving throws, while enemies have disadvantage on attack rolls against you.
