Base Class: Sorcerer
A death master is made when a shadow sorcerer dies at a young age but refuses to die. You will not see much change for about a year, until they start to rot. The roting stops about age 20. By then you might have pieces of flesh missing.
Protection of death
Starting at first level, your type becomes undead. You also gain resistance to necromanic damage. You also have turn resistance, witch means that you have advantage against being effects that turn undead, your CR is your level for a clerics destory undead feature. When you learn a new spell or cantrip due to leveling up in this class, you can chose any spell form the school of necromancy. You also learn the infict woulds spell. It does not count against the number of spells you know. If you replace this spell with any other spell at other levels it must be a spell for the school of necromancy.
You can't be healed by any other means then using hit dice on a short rest or taking a long rest.
Also, you gain the power to give yourself advantage on your next death saving throw. Once you use this feature you can't use it until you finish a long rest.
Friend of death
Starting at 6th level, your mastery over death gives you immunity to disease. When a undead trys to do something harmful to you it must make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, on a fail it must attack someone else or waste it's action. If it fails the saving throw it also can't do anything harmful to you for the next minute or until you do something harmful to it. On a successful save it becomes immune to this ability for 48 hours.
Call undead
Starting at 14th level you gain the power to call undead. As a action you can summon 3 zombies or skeletons (our choice each time you use this feature). If you have access to up to 5 dead body's you can summon up to 5 zombies or skeletons when you do this. The undead stay animated for 10 minutes and they gain 10 temporary hit points when summoned. They also gain a bonus to attack, ability check, and saving rolls equal to half your spell attack bonus. You can mentally command them as long as you are within 1 mile of them as a bonus action on each of your turns, you can give each different undead a different command. If they are given no commands they will defend themselves.
Master of the dead
Starting at 18th level, you become the master of death. When you drop to zero hit points you can use your reaction to become stable. You can use this feature once between long rests.
As a action you can spend 5 sorcery points to try to take control over undead. Each undead within 30ft you that you can see must make a wisdom saving throw against you spell save DC or become charmed by you. If the undead has a CR higher then 4 it has advantage on the saving throw and if if has a CR higher then 6 then it can make the saving throw every minute and also has a +3 bonus to the saving roll and still also has advantage. On a failed save the undead become charmed by you until they die or you use this feature again. You can use your action to give a command to each undead that you control with this feature. It follows the order until it is finished and will not stop for anything else.
