Bard
Base Class: Bard

While majority of students from the College of Deeskoh are Duergar, their purpose is to share the glorious music of their Patron with all those able to hear it. The blessing of the music given to their kind has reached many who have sought a purpose beyond their dull lives as they feel it. Deeskoh is a pure medicine for the soul, able to stir all creatures into awareness of themselves and shrug off magical influences invading their minds.

Boogie Wonderland

As a bonus action, You may expend a bardic inspiration die to begin a Boogie Wonderland. During your Boogie, your speed is halved and you may add your bardic inspiration die to rolls made to resist being charmed, grappled, restrained or frightened as your soul yearns to jive on the battlefield. This effect lasts for one minute, until you are knocked out or until you choose to stop it at the start of your turn. While enjoying a good Boogie, you may choose to share the effect with other creatures by:

    • Successfully making a weapon or spell attack against them
    • Causing them to fail a saving throw against one of your bard spells
    • Targeting a willing creature with a spell(no saving throw required)
    • Touching a willing creature once per turn as a free action.

You may share the Boogie Wonderland with a number of creatures equal to your Charisma Modifier at a time. The effect ends on them when you end the boogie wonderland, or when targeted by a remove curse/dispel magic spell or a similar effect.

Le Freak

When you or a creature affected by your Boogie Wonderland succeed on a saving throw caused by an enemy within 60 ft of you, you may use your reaction to cause the enemy to make a Wisdom Saving Throw. On a failure, they become frightened of their target until the end of their next turn.

You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier per long rest.

Dancing Queen

At 6th Level, when you start your Boogie Wonderland, you may choose any number of willing allies you can see within 30 ft of you to Boogie with you as part of the bonus action to start the Boogie Wonderland.

Instead of gaining the bonus to rolls resisting the Charmed and Frightened conditions, enemies affected by your Boogie Wonderland now reduce their rolls to resist these effects by a roll of your bardic inspiration die. They still gain the bonus to resist the grappled and restrained condition.

Disco Inferno

Also at 6th level, when you cast a Bard Spell of 1st level or higher, you may move 15 ft. While moving in this way, you may move through enemies' spaces, so long as you end your movement in an available space. Enemies who’s spaces you move through and enemies who make attacks of opportunity against you from this movement must make a Dexterity Saving Throw against your Spell Save DC.

    • On a Failure, they take fire damage equal to 3 rolls of your bardic inspiration die.
    • On a success, they take half damage.

You may use this feature twice per short rest.

Ra Ra Rasputin

At 14th level, you adorn the aura of the greatest disciple of Deeskoh in history, a healer and fierce lover. As a result, you gain the following benefits:

  • When you complete a short or long rest, or when you begin a Boogie Wonderland, you gain the effects of the Sanctuary Spell until dispelled or lost by virtue of the spell. When you begin a Boogie Wonderland, you may choose instead to grant another creature in the Boogie Wonderland to gain this feature.
  • Whenever you cast a Bard spell that provides healing, recipients of that healing also gain the effects of a Lesser Restoration spell cast on them.
  • Once per long rest, when you begin a Boogie Wonderland, you may attempt to channel the power of Deeskoh into a powerful enchantment. If you maintain your Boogie Wonderland to its full duration, as a reaction to its completion you may make a performance check, and cast any spell from the school of enchantment of a spell level equal to or less than (your result of the performance check -10). This casting of the spell does not expend a spell slot.
