Monk
Base Class: Monk

Monks who pursue power reach a stagnant point in their career, as their inner self turmoils over the rage and power that builds within. Those who manage to utilize this power are lead to a path of destruction that leads nothing but ruination in their wake. However, to those that manage to control their destructive urges are lead to an even greater path of power, allowing them to channel the Ki within to annihilate their foes, in and out.

Power Within

3rd-level Way of Destruction feature

At 3rd Level, you harness the Ki that boils within you and urges to lay waste. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 ki point to activate your boiling ki. When you do so, each creature of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take thunder damage equal to two rolls of your Martial Arts die.

For 1 minute, you have a visible aura that exudes from you in a color of your choice, and this aura disappears early if you are incapacitated or die.

While the Aura is active, you gain the following benefits:
- Your melee attacks deal extra thunder damage equal to your proficiency bonus.
- You are immune to the frightened condition, and your speed cannot be reduced.
- When you are targeted for a melee attack, you can use your reaction to impose disadvantage. If the attack still hits, you can make a melee weapon attack against that creature if it is within range.

Aura of Devastation

6th-level Way of Destruction feature

When you reach 6th level, your ki begins to steam, rising from your body. As a bonus action, or as part of the bonus action you take to activate your Aura, you can spend 1 ki point let the aura become unleashed for 1 minute. It vanishes early if you are incapacitated or die.

While the Aura is unleashed, you gain these following benefits:
- When you would use a feature that expends Ki points, you can reduce the amount spent by taking that number of D4 Force damage. This damage can’t be reduced in any way.
- When you make a melee attack, your reach extends out an additional 5 ft. As your aura creates a shock wave that reaches them.
- When you make a Stunning Strike, you can use an additional ki point make each creature of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of you succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take thunder damage equal to three rolls of your Martial Arts die, taking half damage on a success.

Soul Ravager

11th-level Way of Destruction feature

Starting at 11th Level, Your ki begins to envelop you and become a monster of it's own. A rampaging thing almost out of control, but a beast is just that. You learn how to channel it into a fierce attack that comes at a cost.

While your Aura is Unleashed, you can use an action and expend 5 Ki points to make a special melee attack. You can make one melee attack against each creature of your choice of either a Line of 120 ft. long and 5 ft wide, or a 20 ft. Radius centered from you. On a hit, a target takes an additional 6d10 Thunder Damage. Once you use this action, you receive 2 level of Exhaustion and you end your Aura.

You can use this feature once per long rest, or expend 5 Ki points to use it again.

Soul of Annihilation

17th-level Way of Destruction feature

At 17th Level, your Ki surges throughout you, leaving your soul permanently scarred with the power that swells so much that even death it self cannot stop you. The first time you take damage that reduces you to 0 hit points with your Aura active, you can use your reaction to Awaken your Aura, and you can immediately take an extra turn, gaining the following benefits:
- You can activate Soul Ravager as a bonus action without expending Ki points or gaining Exhaustion, even if you have no uses left.
- Your melee attacks deal an additional 1d10 Thunder Damage.

When the extra turn ends, you fall unconscious if you still have 0 hit points, and make death saving throws at disadvantage.

Once you use this Feature, you can't use it again until you finish a Long Rest.
