Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Those who fight in defense are weak. You are more than a mere soldier. You live for the excitement killing gives. You live for the thrill of the hunt. And nothing will keep you from reaching the pleasure you seek. Those who stand in your way become tools for amusement as you cut them down and revel in their deaths. You monster.

Bloodlust

When you select this path at 3rd Level, your tireless yearn for the thrill of the hunt reaches its first crescendo. While raging, when you reduce an enemy to 0 hit points, you gain one stack of "Bloodlust". You may have up to 3 stacks at a time, and all stacks dissipate at the end of your rage. As part of your attack action, you may consume stacks of Bloodlust to make one additional attack against the same target for every stack consumed.

The maximum number of stacks of Bloodlust you may have at a time increases to 4 at 7th level, 5 at 12th level, and 6 at 17th level.

Exposure

At 6th level, you learn to draw pleasure from the toughest foes. After successfully hitting a creature three times with a weapon (either in one turn or across multiple), the wounds incurred by your attacks allow you to give in to your savagery and deal additional damage (the target becomes "Exposed"). Against such a target, your attacks deal an additional 2 damage, and against you may expend a charge of Bloodlust to gain advantage on one attack roll against that target.

Enduring Thrill.

At 10th Level, even when you're not in a state of furious bliss, you are still able to take pleasure in the blood you spill. Any stacks of bloodlust you accumulate while raging do not wear off after your rage ends. Instead, they are lost one hour after you exit combat. Additionally, when you "Expose" an enemy, you gain one stack of Bloodlust, regardless of whether or not you are raging.

Martial Hedonist

At 14th level, anticipation floods you whenever a fight starts, and the thrill you extract from cleaving your enemies is exponentiated. When you roll initiative, you gain one stack of Bloodlust if you have none already. Additionally, you do not need to be raging to gain stacks of Bloodlust. Instead, while raging, your attacks deal additional damage equal to any unspent stacks of Bloodlust. Finally, when you hit an enemy four times without reducing them to 0 hit points, the thrill of facing a stronger opponent acts as a substitute for the joy of the kill, and you gain one stack of Bloodlust.
