Oath of the Highway

Oath of the Highway Paladins have given their oath to the road. They are natural explorers and dedicated their life to traveling the world to spread their ideals and hopes to the world. They use their powers to make sure them and their allies are able to travel the road or battleground unimpeded. Unlike most other paladins, there is an expectation that paladins that take the oath of the highway will eventually break their oath. The road ends eventually, after all.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Quick Step. You can spread your freedom of movement to your allies and turn the terrain into another path to your destination. As a bonus action, you can touch a willing creature to increase their movement speed by 20ft and double their jump distance.

Focus. Your freedom of movement gives you enhanced reactions and allow you to take advantage of a missed attack. Using a reaction when an attack misses you, you can make an attack roll against the creature that attacked you.

Aura of Freedom

While you aren’t incapacitated, you and allies within 10 feet of you can’t have their movement speed reduced.

Unimpeded Stride

Your movement speed increases by 10ft. Additionally, you become immune to any magical effects that would reduce your movement speed or incapacitate you.

Spirit of the Open Road

You channel your divine power of travel and manifest that into a spirit of freedom and wind.

As an action, you gain the following benefits for 1 hour:

• You gain advantage on Athletics checks, and Strength and Dexterity saving throws
• All attacks made against you are made at disadvantage
• You gain a teleport equal to your movement speed

This feature can't be used again until you finish a long rest.
