Base Class: Fighter
A master of twinned arts, the Battlemage exists as a warrior that dabbles in both magic and physical combat, wielding spells and blade to smite their foes- though, they never truly master either art.
Spellcasting
The first level up that the Battlemage faces, allowing them to not only strike, but also channel the arcane through their weaponry. The spells which a Battlemage can access are within the Wizard spell tree, allowing them to act as a fusion of both the "Wizard' and "Fighter" classes.
Cantrips
You learn two Cantrips of choice from the list of available Wizard Cantrips. This increases to 3 at Level 10.
Arcane Infusion
You gain the ability to fuse your twin arts, infusing your weaponry with the very magic that fuels you, igniting it and granting it a sort of new vigor, allowing it to pulse with the power that runs through your very own veins, embracing the "Battlemage" Archetype.
Elemental Infusion - Cold
You infuse your blade with the energy of frigid cold.
Elemental Infusion - Force
You infuse your blade with the energy of raw force.
Elemental Infusion - Thunder
You infuse your blade with the energy of storming thunder.
Elemental Infusion : Fire
You infuse your blade with the energy of flame.
Elemental Infusion : Necrotic
You infuse your blade with the energy of rotting necrosis.
With One's Blade
To love one's blade and to channel your magic through them. Binding oneself with your steel allows your magic to command it as if it was just another projectile, soaring through the skies or perhaps, through your enemies as you walk through the battlefield.
Attuned Body
Your body channels both Arcana and raw strength, allowing it to be conditioned much like a fine steel is honed by the forge- as such, you seem attuned to the damage of spells, developing a sort of resistance to them.
Bladesong
Your mastery of both blade and sorcery have granted you the ability to channel your spell through your blade, granting it the ability to weave a spell at your behest, much like a violinist bringing about song through the use of his muse.
Blessed by Song
Blessed by the way of magic itself, your blade has transcended mere steel, becoming conduits of the Song and channeling your latent magic potential to it's maximum capacity. This has allowed your very body to be enveloped in the greatness of your sorcery, bolstering your capability on the battlefield- for truly, a man such as yourself has achieved the heights of both sorcery and swordsmanship.
