Base Class: Wizard
Hackers are one with The Code. They use expert levels of Code Magic to affect the world - both digital and real - around them. From tapping into mainframes to re-routing security clearances, Hackers are wizards of the modern world.
IP Access
At 2nd level you gain the ability to access open networks and commonly locked servers with your laptop, which serves as your spellbook. Every server IP, firewall, and source point will have a hacking DC, and you will be able to gain access to them using a successful Intelligence (Technology) check.
Rename.File.exe
Beginning at 2nd level, you are able to re-code the attributes of the world around you.
So long as the target object is imbedded in The Code, you are able to modify one object you can see that is no larger than 1ftx1ftx1ft. You may modify the object's physical appearance and its properties for 1 hour before it changes back to its original format.
Ctrl+C , Ctrl+V
Starting at 6th level, you may control the way the code flows around you. Analyzing one creature within 30ft of you, as a reaction you may take any one feat, ability, or skill check they have used within the last minute and make another creature within range (You may choose yourself) to replicate this action. This counts as the creatures action, and they must make a Wisdom Saving Throw (DC equal to your spellcasting save DC) to resist taking the action.
This ability may be used an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Flash Drive
When you cast a spell using a spell slot of 6th level or lower, you can condense the spell’s code into a drive. The spell is digitalized and held within a small flash drive for 1 hour. This drive is a Tiny object with AC 15 and 1 hit point, and it is immune to poison and psychic damage. When the duration ends, or if the drive is destroyed, it vanishes in a flash of light, and the spell is lost.
A creature holding the drive can use its action to release the spell within, whereupon the drive disappears. The spell uses your spell attack bonus and save DC, and the spell treats the creature who released it as the caster for all other purposes.
Once you create a drive with this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
CPU Overload
Starting at 14th level, you can increase the power of your simpler spells. When you cast a Code spell of 1st through 6th level that deals damage, you can deal maximum damage with that spell.
The first time you do so, you suffer no adverse effect. If you use this feature again before you finish a long rest, you gain 2d12 toxicity points for each level of the spell, immediately after you cast it. Each time you use this feature again before finishing a long rest, the toxicity points per spell level increases by 1d12.
