Monk
Base Class: Monk

Warriors of the Way of the Sun Soul learn to channel their life energy into searing bolts of light and other techniques using their Ki. They teach that meditation can unlock the ability to unleash the indomitable light and power shed by the soul of every living creature. All creatures have the potential to control the great power within though few know how to properly train their potential or even master it. Those who go the Way of the Sun Soul may have learned to control their inner power via a Master or Instructor, other may have been raised around similar individuals or their race is more suited to control their energies.

Minor Ki Blast

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can hurl searing bolts of magical radiance.

You gain a new attack option that you can use with the Attack action. The special attack is a ranged weapon attack with a range of 60 feet. You are proficient with it, and you add your Dexterity or Wisdom modifier to its attack and damage rolls. Its damage is radiant, and its damage die is a d6. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.

When you take the Attack action on your turn and use this special attack as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make the special attack twice as a bonus action. When you gain the Extra Attack feature, this special attack can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action. At level 10 you can make the special attack three times as a bonus action when you spend 1 ki point.

Ki Techniques

Along your path as a Sun Soul you may develop or learn techniques from tutors. These techniques can vary in type and ferocity - A technique is a spell from the Wizard or Druid spell list that requires concentration, deals damage, or requires a saving throw. Your spellcasting ability modifier for these spells is Wisdom. You can learn an amount of techniques up to your Wisdom Modifier. These techniques are spells and count as spells when you cast them, to cast a technique you must use an amount of Ki points equal to the level of the spell +1. So to cast Burning Hands at 1st Level you must use 2 of your Ki points. These learned techniques cannot be cast through the Spellcasting or Pact Magic Class Feature

You can learn and cast higher levelled techniques as you level up

You shed bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. You can extinguish or restore the light as a bonus action.
