Those who follow the Way of the Houndmaster are those who patrol the area around temples or monasteries as well as the ones who guard it. Using their specially bred and trained war dogs they are masters of restraining and eliminating threats to the temple. Your dog will release the creature it is holding if it is hit by an attack from another creature.

Command:  Frenzy! - Command your War Dog into a rage, lashing out at the nearest enemy. The enemy must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save the creature takes (1d6 + Monk level) slashing damage and is knocked prone in the frenzy of movement.

If the houndmaster falls unconscious his dog will immediately move to and perform a bite attack on the creature that last attacked the houndmaster. It will then form a defensive circle around the body of the houndmaster and attack any hostile creature that enters its range.
