Base Class: Bard

The Bladesingers were a sect of monastic bards, who had dedicated themselves to peace, but after years of peace, the wars of the world managed to get in, and some members began to seed ideas of war. a fracture occurred among the Bladesinger's College's those who vied for peace hid, becoming a ghost, unseen by the world. those select few who remained threw themselves into war and battle. becoming legends of destruction, soon those who remained began to obsess, seeking power. selling their allegiance for power, and status.

Bladesingers Training

When you join the Bladesinger's College at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons and two skills of your choice.

Additionally, when wielding a melee weapon with more than 5 ft. of range, you may add your charisma modifier to you AC so long as you are not wearing armor.

Singing Blades

Also at 3rd level, You learn the ability to use the melodies created by singing weapons to cast spells and disrupt them. the control of your weapons range allows you to destroy and create magic within its bounds. you may expend a use of bardic inspiration to do one of the following as a reaction:

  • without using a spell slot you may cast a spell that's level is equal to or lower than half your level
  • without using a spell slot you may cast dispel magic at base level on any spell that is cast within or passes through the area of your weapon

Additionally, during a short or long rest you may turn any weapon into a singing weapon, if it did not already it gains the finesse property and an additional 5 ft. of range, but only when you are wielding it

Blade Mastery

At 6th level, Whenever you deal damage with an attack or spell cast via your weapon, you may choose to either deal thunder damage equal to your Charisma modifier to all enemies within your range or restore hit points equal to half your charisma modifier to all allies within your range.

Additionally, You may make a second attack per attack action.

Battlefield Control

Starting at 14th level, you gain an additional 5 ft. of range with all weapons. additionally, when you deal damage with a singing blade or spell within your range you may move the target of that attack or spell 5 ft. in any direction. the first time a creature attempts to leave your range you may take a free reaction to make a contested strength check if they fail you make a free weapon attack and they are pulled 10 ft. toward you. whenever a spell is cast within your range you may choose to impose either disadvantage or advantage on all creatures within your range for any roll required by the spell.
