Base Class: Monk
Obsessed with death and what lies beyond the mortal veil, studying everything they can by any means through books, combat, meditation or medicinal training. Fractured Soul is the term given to those who have let their obsession consume them to the point that they have taken their own lives, just to see what is there. Having been brought back in various ways, Fractured Souls may have brought something back with them.
Dark Passenger
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your study of death allows whatever has returned with you to extract vitality from another creature as it nears its demise. When you reduce a creature within 10 feet of you to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier + your monk level (minimum of 1 temporary hit point). As an action you can spend 1 ki point to cast the Eldritch Blast spell.
Insatiable Hunger
At 6th level, you gain the ability to unsettle or terrify those around you as an action, for your soul has been been tainted by something dark. When you take this action, each creature within a 30 foot cone that can see you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC is 10+ your Charisma modifier) on a failed save they are frightened of you until the end of your next turn and take 2d8 necrotic damage. On a successful save they are not frightened and take half damage. You heal for half of the necrotic damage dealt.
Unstable Soul
Beginning at 11th level, When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you must make a Constitution saving throw (DC is 10+ your proficiency bonus)on a successful save you have 1 hit point instead. On a fail you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC is 10 + your Wisdom modifier) on a successful save you fall unconscious, on a failed save you can move your full movement and must make a single unarmed strike against the closest creature. You heal for all damage dealt then regain you're senses. This happens once per short rest.
Grave Touched
Starting at 17th level, your touch can channel the energy of undeath into a creature. As an action, you touch one creature that has been dead for no longer then a year, spending 4 ki points to raise it as a zombie under your control for the next week. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You're unarmed strikes now deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage.
