Base Class: Monk
The Great Martial Artist have aways trained both their mind & body so that the former may enhance the latter.
The Way of the Enlightened can invert this & become the embodiment of mind over matter.
Intrusive Strikes
3rd-level Way of the Enlightened feature
When your unarmed strike hits a target; you can spend 2 ki point to deal psychic damage = your Martial Arts die. Then roll a D20 to inflict 1 of the following effects, 1-2: the target is unable to perform an action on their next turn, 3-5: the target is unable to perform a bonus action on their next turn, 6-8: the target is unable to perform a reaction on their next turn, 9-11: the target has disadvantage on concentration check until the end of their next turn & 12-20 are unassigned & no effect will be inflicted.
Before you roll your D20 you can assign effects to unassigned numbers by spending ki points 2 points per effect of either bonus action reaction & concentration & 3 points per effect of action. You may not use this feature on the same target more than once per turn.
A New Perspective
6th-level Way of the Enlightened feature

You can now target yourself with Vortex Warp & can cast it as a reaction to a target being about to make a saving throw (except for tis spell) or being targeted by an attack.
Also you gain +1 AC against a creature under the effects your Detect Thoughts.
