Base Class: Bard
While other bards spend their time playing music and singing songs to woo and entertain others, you know the true way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and the heart is the most malleable organ in the body. You have spent your time perfecting your craft, while others may be a “wiz in the kitchen”, they pale in comparison to your bard in the kitchen. Combining your culinary skills with your magic, you create deluxe banquets within seconds and feed them to your allies to bolster their strengths.
Culinary Preference
When you choose this college at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with Cook’s Utensils and one of the following: Alchemist’s Supplies, Brewer’s Supplies, Herbalism Kit, or Poisoner’s Kit.
Professional Chef
From 3rd level, you are easily able to forage for enough ingredients to create masterpieces of food to feed up to 6 creatures for a day.
Culinary Inspiration
Starting at 3rd level, you spend a large majority of your free time creating and experimenting with small snacks that you carry with you. When you grant a creature a Bardic Inspiration die, you can choose to make it a Culinary Inspiration die instead.
A Culinary Inspiration die is the same as your Bardic Inspiration die and functions the same. However, when a creature uses a Culinary Inspiration die, you must make a wisdom(Cook’s Utensils) check. If the check’s result is above 15, the creature regains hit points equal to the number they rolled on the Culinary Inspiration die. If the result is below 15, the target takes damage equal to the number rolled on the Culinary Inspiration die. You may choose to fail this check.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain any expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Culinary-Magic Perfection
Starting at 6th level, you have gained the ability to infuse your creations with your magic. During a short or long rest, you can create a small meal and infuse it with a spell. The spell must only target one creature. If a creature willingly eats the meal you have infused, the spell activates, targeting the creature that devoured it. The creature has disadvantage on any saving throw associated with the spell.
The meal is considered magical while infused with your spell.
You can only have one infused meal at a time. If you attempt to infuse another meal while you still have a meal infused, the first infused meal will revert to an ordinary one. Each meal only last up to 24 hours.
Daily Dose of Banquet
Starting at 14th level, you have perfected your culinary-magic, allowing them to work in tandem with a much greater ease. You can cast the spell heroes’ feast without requiring material components or using a spell slot. Once you have cast this spell this way, you cannot do so again until you finish a long rest.
