Base Class: Monk

Using a glaive to launch into the air these monks intend to inflict harm from an unusual direction.

Aerial Assault

Starting at 3rd level, you can spend 1 Focus point and use your reaction to make a melee attack while airborne, adding 1 Martial Arts die of damage to that attack.

If this attack hits you stay airborne until the end of your next turn unless forced to land by being hit or other means.

This can be used 3 times per short rest. 

This attack can be used to move over the target.

This increases to 5 uses at level 7 and 8 uses at level 11.

Airborne Glaive Mastery

At 3rd level gain the following:

Proficiency with glaives.

+20 jump height by using your glaive to boost your jumps. 

If you jumped using your glaive take no fall damage from falls of 80 feet or less.

Wielding a glaive does not prevent you from using unarmed attacks if you are on the ground.

Wholeness of the Floating Body

At 6th level, as a bonus action you can either grant yourself temporary hit points equal to your level + 1 Martial Arts die or provide you with a +1 bonus to your attack roll for the 12 hours 

This can be used once per long rest.

Glaive Flurry

Starting at 11th level, after making an Attack on your turn, you can make one additional melee attack as a bonus action.

Diving Charge

Beginning at 11th level, once per long rest, you can perform a powerful diving attack from at least 10 feet in the air. The attack deals an 4d6 Force damage, and each creature within a 10-foot radius must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier) or take the same damage and be knocked back 10 feet.

 

Master of the Skies

At level 17 ou gain the ability to fly for up to 1 hour. This ability can be used once per long rest. Your flying speed is your walking speed + 20 feet.

You can make a melee attack as a bonus action during a move while flying, this attack deals an extra 4d8 damage. This can be used 3 times per short rest.
