Base Class: Druid
The druidic Circle of Stone is one of the oldest circles, dating back to the very first druids. The circle focuses on not only the powers of stone, but the principles that stones represent -- Endurance, patience, and remaining grounded.
Circle of Stone Spells
When you reach a Druid level specified in the Circle of Stone Spells table, you thereafter always have the listed spells prepared.
| Druid Level | Prepared Spells |
|---|---|
| 3 | Magic Stone, Mold Earth, Maximilian's Earthen Grasp, Catapult |
| 5 | Erupting Earth, Wall of Sand |
| 7 | Otiluke's Resilient Sphere, Stone Shape |
| 9 | Passwall, Wall of Stone |
Stone Blockade
Starting at 3rd level when you enter this circle, you learn to tap into the powers of stone to summon impenetrable walls to protect yourself and your allies. As an action, you may summon a Stone Blockade to a point you can see within 60 feet of you.
A blockade is a solid wall of rock that is 5 feet thick and rises up to 25 feet tall. You may choose the length of your blockade up to a maximum length of 25 feet. A blockade has 50 hit points, 12 Armor Class, and automatically fails any ability saves it has to make except for Strength and Constitution saves, which it automatically succeeds.
A creature that is standing where a blockade is summoned will be moved to the nearest possible unoccupied space. You may summon a number of Stone Blockades equal to your Proficiency bonus per short rest. Stone Blockades last for 10 minutes, after which they crumble to dust. You may cause a Stone Blockade to crumble as a bonus action on your turn.
Boulderform
At 3rd level, the forms you take with your Wildshape magic are infused with stone, giving them an unnatural toughness. When you Wildshape, your beast form gains a bonus +2 to their armor class.
In addition, as an action, you may consume a use of your Wildshape to gain the ability to speak to stones for 10 minutes. When you speak to a stone this way, you can inquire about recent events and other circumstances, but without any true sentient intelligence, more complicated topics may be out of its comprehension.
Stone's Patience
At 6th level, you commit to the teachings of the Circle of Stone, and take on a robust form of patience. At the beginning of a combat encounter, you may reduce your initiative roll by 5 points.
If you do you may automatically summon two Stone Blockades once your first turn begins. These summoned Stone Blockades do not count against your total summon uses per short rest. Additionally, you can now summon your Stone Blockades as a bonus action.
Broken Edge
Also at 6th level, your Stone Blockades now rupture the earth around them, creating jagged spikes that shred legs and snap ankles. Whenever a hostile creature moves within 10 feet of one of your Stone Blockades, and it is not flying, that creature takes 2d4 piercing damage for every 5 feet they move.
Crystalline Blockades
At 10th level, your connection to stone has evolved to a point that your Stone Blockades are now composed of beautiful but nigh indestructible crystals and gemstones. Your Stone Blockades now have 75 hit points and 18 Armor Class. When you summon a Stone Blockade, you may now choose for it to remain opaque or take on a see-through glass like appearance.
Whenever you cast a spell, you may restore the hit points of one blockade that you can see by 1d4 plus an additional 1d4 per spell level.
Unbreakable
At 14th level, your magic has made your body as durable as stone. Whenever you would receive damage, it is reduced by 3 plus the number of Stone Blockades you have active.

Posted Jun 19, 2026Oh I see, thanks for the clarification.
I was able to work around it by creating a feat granting all of the relevant spells.

Posted Jun 18, 2026Thanks! And a dwarf is the perfect fit for it! Unfortunately, due to WotC copyright nonsense, I can't program in the spells that you are granted, I can only list them. It's the only way to make the subclass public, which is dumb, but y'know.

Posted Jun 16, 2026This subclass looks fun, I am starting to use it for my dwarven druid. However, the spells granted by the subclass do not appear in my spells list :(
